Childish Gambino premieres his new "interactive script" for the album, Because The Internet, giving the entire body of work another layer of perspective and visuals and becoming the tour de force combo of all of Glover's talents: rapping, videos, acting, and screenwriting. I salute the concept alone and am already starting to dive into this script and story, which you read and interact with the videos while listening to the album in the background. You can stream the album in its entirety here.
You can also catch a video for "The Worst Guys" f/ Chance The Rapper in the script on becausetheinter.net and also the music video for "3005" dropping today here.
Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg release the full audio of an interview that they did Kanye West for their "Juan Epstein" show. During the the interview they talked about his influences, producing, and much more.
Kanye West at Art Basel in Miami (wearing a W.W.J.D. bracelet?)
For all the new Kanye interviews in the past month, his upcoming album hasn't been talked about at all. And well, for good reason, because Yeezus just came out and he's on tour for the album through the end of the year. But Yeezy fans will jump at any new info on an upcoming album. Case in point: a couple of days ago when Q-Tip revealed he and Rick Rubin will be executive producing Kanye's next album.
At Art Basel in Miami last night, Kanye talked with architect Jacques Herzog primarily about design but also this tidbit on the new album:
"West also offered some brief insight into his next album project during the talk. "I think my next album is going to be eight songs," West said. "It's just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can't take anything else away. [Yeezus] was very, very designed. I took a departure from radio and popular music in order to get this seat here. If I hadn't made Yeezus, I wouldn't be sitting here with this cool font at Basel right here."

And here's 'Ye's explanation on why he chose music over art:
"I thought my opinion wasn't strong enough with what I was painting. When I would see my own work, I never thought I would visually be able to become one of the masters — I thought I had a stronger opinion when I worked on music. I got a stronger response."
We knew it was coming, now that the scheduled release date for Mastermind was less than two weeks away (Dec. 17th). Rozay officially pushes his upcoming album back to 2014 as he says he's putting on the finishing touches to further solidify its "classic" status.
R. Kelly pulled out all the stops on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night — first recreating the album cover to Black Panties live during a performance of "Genius". Then he brings out 2 Chainz for their single "My Story". And finally, R. Kelly slows it down again with "You Deserve Better".
And if this sexually charged performance wasn't enough yesterday, R. Kelly also joined Jimmy on the couch for an entertaining interview (below).
And that's not all! It was also announced that Kellz will be making more Trapped In The Closet episodes in 2014 (airing on IFC).
Black Panties is less than a week away — Tuesday, December 10th.
