Usher sat down with Usher for an ‘MTV! First’ in-depth interview and about 3 minutes in above, you can catch a preview of the new record “Twisted” featuring Pharrell. In the preview, Usher demonstrates the new dance that I’m sure will catch on to some capacity as he urges the ladies to pick it up and do it. It’s simple, I think the ladies will oblige, hah. After the jump are two more videos – one where Usher talks about that record with Pharrell, calling it a “nostalgic record”, and about a collab with most definitely one of the fastest rising rappers of 2012 – ASAP Rocky – called “Hot Thing”. Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo‘s club track, “Let’s Go,” now has its own visuals. In the video, we get to see just about everything that this one is awesome for; the workout, a day out on the go, and most importantly…raging at the club.

Future has released the official remix of “Same Damn Time.” This banger includes both Diddy and Ludacris. We get everything that is expected when we hear from these three, great lyrics. Make sure you grab this one right now, before you fall behind on this hit.

An interesting day for 50 Cent if you’re up on his Twitter as he tweeted he’s going into surgery at the hospital today (along with a shout at Floyd Mayweather about why his phone is off… which is what I always wonder before I go under the knife too, go figure). Anywho, hopefully it’s a fast recovery for 50 as he also announces his Lost Tape with DJ Drama is finished and on track for next week’s May 22nd release (featuring an Eminem feature as well). And oh, he premieres the new video above with Kidd Kidd from his last mixtape, The Big 10.

For her newest music video, Nicki Minaj not only has featured guest Chris Brown by her side, but also Nas, who appears by her side as the love interest of the song. Ok, I’ll stop saying that people are by Nicki’s side now. Honestly though, it was kind of strange to see Nicki & Nas all couplely, but at the end of the day, it made for an interesting scope for a song that the masses will mainly deem as heartwarming. Ryan Leslie decides that now is a good time to drop the visual of his live performance, that was shot back in March, of himself debuting his track “Ups & Downs”. Sounds like we could have ourselves a bomb hit here as I’m totally feeling this track from start to finish. Expect Les Is More to drop this summer. Boom!

Childish Gambino keeps it moving on the heels of the heater earlier this week in “Unnecessary” with a lot of updates via his Twitter and tumblr today. He actually went on a Twitter rant (a calm one if you immediately have the inclination it’s an angry one) where Donald explains some deep feelings and thoughts about how he’s perceived, what he means, and why he makes music. He concludes the series of tweets by directing everyone to iamdonald.com for a download of “We Ain’t Them” – another personal track where he talks about his family, career, and mindset on his ever-changing life that’s likely to make his TBD titled upcoming mixtape. “Back of mind tho, I hope show gets canceled… maybe then I can get focused” - Donald’s allusion to ‘Community’?! Some true and revealing thoughts there. And oh yes, that rather interesting artwork as well (no explanations yet on that).

Coincidentally enough, Palita passed along a live performance of “We Ain’t Them” to me earlier today (and seen for you guys below), where Gambino’s energy brings those personal lyrics to an extra level of appeal for the listeners to care. This one is definitely a must-download and I’ll lock it in as a *Tibs Fav.™ for now, with strong potential for that good all-caps upgrade.
