FAIN (Lamar Fain) is a american musician/artist from Indianapolis, Indiana born january 19,1992. FAIN was born into a family of 5 to his Mother and Father Lamar and Shawn Fain and his 2 older siblings (sisters) Lamia and Lashanda Fain. Fain is a son of ministers where he was raised in the church where he started playing guitar. FAIN was only 7 when he started playing guitar, but later he lost interest and played it off and on . FAIN later got influenced and gained a greater passion for guitar when his church recruited a great guitar player named Ponell Bruton. Ponell eventually helped Fain learn more about guitar and helped FAIN develop as a musician. Ponell also taught FAIN the fundamentals of music production and sound. FAIN eventually helped run the live sound at the church as well as playing guitar with the church band along with Ponell and FAIN’S sister on the drums (Lamia Fain). During FAIN’s passion with guitar he later tried incorporating his style of rock into alot of mainstream hip hop making guitar youtube videos, remixing different hip hop songs with rock. Later he had got the Rockband game and saw that it came with a mic and immediately plugged the USB end of the mic into his computer and noticed that it worked. Thats where FAIN started gaining interest in music production. Ever since then FAIN owns his own home studio and is also steady working to reach his goal! However FAIN now has a good following online with people who love and relate to his music! FAIN’s influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Eric Clapton and many more . In terms of hip hop FAIN gains inspiration from Tupac, Biggie Smalls, LL Cool J, Kanye West, Jay Z, Pharell, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Wale, and many more!

"Initiation is the process by which we turn from our natural inclination to remain unconscious and decide that whatever it takes — suffering, striving, enduring — we will pursue conscious union with the deeper mind, the wild self."
~Clarissa Pinkola Estés
