Whoo, 18 track update for ya ears here, starting off w/ the much anticipated collabo between 3 of 2day’s biggest rap stars: “I Did It For Hip Hop” by Ludacris f/ Jay-Z & Nas! And this one blew me away. Luda comes thru with a catchy hook over a raw hip hop beat and I’m especially feelin’ Nas’ verse. Definitely one that every hip hop fan should DL! Down below, an interesting original version of Common’s “Be”, a hot beat on the DJ Felli Fel track, the nice extended version of “Propane” f/ T.I., some more various hip hop and R&B trax-n-vids! FINALLY back.. and with a TON of goodies for ya eyes and ears, starting with NEW Kanye West from 808’s & Heartbreak! “Coldest Winter” was released earlier, but this is the HQ (supposedly CDQ) version of the track that is also supposedly dedicated 2 his late mother. I can def see that and I think parts of it can def be applied 2 a relationship also. I’m really diggin’ “Coldest Winter” a lot; the beat is ridiculous and inspired by some 80s music and Kanye passionately sings some beautiful lyrics. I’m still on the fence about the album’s direction, but it appeals 2 me because I love the topics he’s covering and I don’t mind the autotune that much and feel that Kanye uses it real well 2 the point that it’s not really annoying. We’ll see about the entire album, however. I’ll reserve judgment on “Robocop” because it does sound like a LQ version, but I can say that it didn’t strike me like “Heartless” and “Coldest Winter” did at first. Both of the latter trax really stand out 2 me and will be on repeat for months 2 come (just like LA’s “The Journey” produced by Mr. Music that u should definitely grab if u haven’t already!). As for the rest of the update, NEW trax from John Legend, Ludacris featuring co-stars like Lil’ Wayne, Common, and even Spike Lee, a couple real nice Q-Tip trax, and some other solid efforts from hip hop and R&B artists that u can peep below. Also be sure 2 check out the latest video premieres featuring Estelle, Bobby Valentino, and Keri Hilson among others. Enjoy!

Here we are - another Kanye West song, supposedly off of 808’s & Heartbreak! Damn, I really love the topics that Kanye is tackling in all of his recent releases; topics that he hasn’t fully covered in any of his previous albums. “Coldest Winter” has some lyrics that really bring his situation with his mom easy 2 relate 2 (thx S-Preme for that) and it is really makin’ me excited for the FULL version that will hopefully surface soon. Down below, even more trax featuring the much talked about Coldplay/Jay-Z collabo (I’m ehhh on both artists but I know big fans of them will like it). Had 2 MediaFire the track above cuz zShare had probs w/ just that file and not the ones below, but anyway, NEW JL & Kanye! It’s HQ, but not CDQ b/c the track was premiered on that radio show. I like it though. Kanye’s on the autotune once again, but it’s not annoying. JL is pretty nice on the chorus 2 the midtempo track. I’m expecting the CDQ version soon. Bunch of NEW R&B for ya ears, starting with a sweet track from Joe, which I can see as the opening track for his upcoming album. The lyrics, as u can imagine, apply 2 his re-definition of himself and involves some interesting metaphors as well. It’s not a slow jam as I first thought it would be, rather an uptempo track. Down below, are a couple more uptempo trax by Ray Lavender that are very solid, a couple nice Fabolous features, & a slow jam by Chris Brown and Andre Merritt (I have this strange feeling he used 2 be a WR for the Bears? haha, maybe same name, different guy situation.. anyway I digress…) and it is also a nice track that R&B fans would enjoy! I’m lovin’ everything I’m hearing from R&B new-comer Karina Pasian, and this track is different than the previous ones we’ve posted off her debut album, First Love, in stores this coming Tuesday! “90s Baby” is sure 2 be a radio hit - it’s got the uptempo beat and the equally catchy hook, but there’s somethin’ about Karina that I can already see separates her. While this song isn’t as lyrically deep as her other songs, it is a nice track that exposes a lil’ bit more about who Karina Pasian is, a good idea for what looks 2 be the first track off her album! Below, there’s some more R&B featuring some big names like Brandy, Trey Songz, & Bobby Valentino, as well as some solid hip hop cuts - namely a CDQ version of an old T.I. mixtape track, a nice Talib Kweli feature, & a solid, passionate banger from Cassidy & Cory Gunz! Mary J. covers Ciara’s “Supernatural” and displays a very powerful and beautiful voice while Mrs. Carter kills another uptempo beat that, who knows?, could be an upcoming single on her developing album. Down below, I’m feelin’ a lot more trax including parts of the “Girls Around The World (DJ Khaled RMX)” (T.I. of course), the 2 StarGate produced trax by R&B singers Mario & Dontae, & NYC rappers Fabolous and Lloyd Banks comin’ thru w/ some nice rhymes on their respective trax! Couple quick CB notes… never was really high on “Picture Perfect” and the RMX doesn’t really add much IMO, but I do love CB’s new 3rd verse. And 2, I believe “Heart Ain’t A Brain” was included in the rush of trax that followed Exclusive after its original release in November… from the DJ Babey Drew leaks. This version is supposedly the full version that will be appearing on the re-release - Exclusive: The Forever Edition in stores next Tuesday, June 3rd!
