The snippet was off a previous mixtape, but the full version is now released above, off the upcoming 88 Keys album. Lovin’ Kanye’s first verse (and Borat impersonation at the end, haha) and the level of wordplay is pretty high; again, with the subject matter at hand, clever double meanings are evident throughout the track. Definitely worth a listen for ya ears so DL above! TON of hip hop for ya’ll 2day, comin’ heavy from the Chi-City with the latest from the Go Getters (Kanye West, GLC, Really Doe, with Arrowstar). I’m feelin’ this track a lil’ more than the other 2 that have been released (big ups again 2 FSD!) and it’s still weird/cool 2 hear Kanye pre-accident! U should DL just 2 compare those changes… and check out some of the rest of the Chicago flava with Rhymefest, GLC, & the breakout track from Mikkey Halsted, produced by Kanye West! And ya’ll HAVE 2 DL the NEW Nas track, “Black President”, a conscious track based freshly off the recent event of Barack Obama winning the democratic presidential candidacy! DJ Green Lantern chops it up smoothly with snippets from Obama’s speech and the famous 2Pac line from “Changes” / “I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto” - “We ain’t ready 2 have a black pres-i-dent.”. Sick. And definitely check out some real solid trax from Blu of Blu & Exile, and Styles P and his trio The LOX! Enjoy!

Had 2 put this up as soon as I saw it and then I’ma head 2 sleep for the night… our boy 2gether with the eclectic Wyclef Jean for the “Fast Car RMX”! Lovin’ the orig, lovin’ the RMX more for Lupe’s short but sweet verse, haha. Another MUST-DL above… and another one below with the latest from another Chicago represented group Kidz In The Hall as they released their ode 2 Chicago native and Democratic favorite Barack Obama! Conscious verses abound throughout the song as everyone involved simply brings it and the track invokes thoughts about the upcoming election and the state of the nation. Finally, check out a Rhymefest video one step below that and the SICK “Homecoming” video shot in the Go by Kanye West as well as some other cool goodies from Max G. below! Enjoy!
Ugh, I was goin 2 lead off w/ the sick video for “I Wonder” from Kanye’s listening party, but I can’t copy the embed code for some reason. It’s not lettin me, haha. So just head over 2 Kanye’s Blog and go watch that. It’s a futuristic video that fits the song well. We got some NEW T.I. & J.T. for ya! For the newly freed rapper, enjoy 2 unreleased tracks from his latest album T.I. vs. T.I.P.! The first is a nice Wyclef Jean produced track that I’m definitely feelin’ and the other is a remix to the bonus track “Hustlin’” featuring a rapper named Homeboi (there’s definitely no classical singers out there named Homeboi, haha).
Also below, you can download the 2 of the many dance remixes to “Lovestoned / I Think She Knows” by Justin Timberlake. Technically, these have been available on iTunes for awhile, but they never surfaced for free until now! The Justice RMX is an interesting collaboration with the VMA-nominated group and the Mysto & Pizzi RMX is by far my personal favorite out of the 10 remixes. The beat is just ridiculous as those types of heavy dance beats are usually to my liking. Of course you can preview all of the tracks as well as DOWNLOAD them below!
FINALLY, I posted one of my favorite live performances and it fits perfectly for the occasion. One of my favorite tracks from ‘06 - “My Love” - by Justin Timberlake & T.I. performed at the Grammy’s in 2007 with contest winner Robyn Troup! There’s a lot to love about this performance… JT’s “Can you do my dance?” as well as his dance moves in general are ridiculous… T.I.’s ridiculous flow… J.T. & T.I.’s motions when T.I. spits “…from Peru to Japan”… T.I.’s overall flyness and then fly exit off the stage after his verse… and finally the beautiful and I’d say talented, Robyn Troup did a nice job with all her parts and motions in the performance. Definitely a must-watch as it’s another one of my favorite live videos! Everything is below so enjoy!
Check out some fresh tracks that came out Thursday… sry a lil’ late on this but midterms and a presentation all day, and ballin’ of course. Anyway, I’m feelin’ all 3 of these tracks. The first is the “Sweetest Girl RMX” with a nice, new verse by R&B crooner Casely. I just enjoy the vibe to the whole song and Akon is rockin’ the chorus as usual. The 2nd of these tracks actually also features Akon; a hip-hop, pump up type song with Akon on the chorus, and yeah, it’s pretty sick, although admitedly a lil bit lacking on the lyrical side. It’s interesting to see the 2 different sides of Akon on the above 2 tracks actually, haha. Lastly, I got the “Feelin’ It RMX” by relatively unknown R&B singer - Sammie - with more well-known R&B singers Lloyd and T-Pain over a nice Jazze Pha beat. DL them all below and enjoy!
