Busy day for Sgt. Tibs, but I took some time out 2day 2 finally get on the latest social networking website: Twitter. For those unfamiliar, Twitter allows users 2 update their status and display their random thoughts to people throughout the world, who can subscribe to these updates on their cell phones or their own Twitter page. You can follow me, Sgt. Tibs, as I’ll look to keep updating my random thoughts and even more importantly, updates on when posts will come up and other GWHH related announcements. Jeff Pak has a brand new blog over at jeffpakforever.com, make sure you check him out as he’ll post new art work on there every week! He is also responsible for the new header art work; it spells out “Gowhere” in sign language! The Five One is back! Get ready for a revolutionary record release process from these music gurus… you’ll see what I mean soon enough. “The Green Complex” was a major hit, but was just a beginning. Their third album titled “RGB” will be released by weekly installments of a Music (tv) Series on the web! Get on their site Duece Day to sign up as a member, and catch their unique up coming approach to an album release. I love Five One for their creativity, passion, and innovation in the game. Attention all unsigned artists! Head over to our affiliate, The Next Big Sound, where you can upload and stream your music to a number of visitors and fans daily. I ran into the four guys who created and developed the website on the El train this past weekend and I am really excited about their idea. Below is some more details about the website:
The Next Big Sound allows anyone the ability to play the role of a record mogul and sign artists to their own label. When you get to the site, its all about music. Just select the hip-hop/rap/r&b filter from the drop down and press play. When you hear something you like, register for free as a mogul and sign the artist to your label. The Next Big Sound is about changing the music industry by empowering a community to show who they think is the next big sound.
So fans can discover NEW music from artists they’ve never heard of and the artists themselves can further promote their music to the numerous fans on the website daily. Once I recruit a couple artists to join, look out for the GWHH Mogul Label, haha. Big ups to the guys @ The Next Big Sound! Check it out!
Music is motivational, Art is beautiful, but Knowledge is power. lol I love technology; the modern age is just incredible to me, wouldn’t have it any other way…. The design is so pleasing in the modern age, it just makes me happy. The technology that will be released to the world in due time is pretty incredible, so I figured I’d put up some things that are going to be poppin’ off soon. Most the stuff was jacked from My Memory’s Museum, so go check them out because they are on top of their game with this kind of stuff.

What up everyone? I’m borderline crazy rite now.. 4AM on the dot up here in Minneapolis, skyline out my window, jyea! Anyway, this post is simply Gowhere Hip Hop NEWS!
- Aite, so last 4+ hrs (save for a Teddy Grahams break), I’ve been posting all the recovered posts - including re-spacing and re-tagging - that we had backed up on our former blogger (DUE 2 THE HACK..) and wow, that was the definition of tedious. My apologies if you were viewing the site during this time. Some random Chris Brown, Danja beats, The Game (the 1st classic album, not the garbage he put out after), Chamillionaire, and of course Lupe got me thru all posting all these old posts, haha. So plz throw me a bone and check out the archives now for somethin’ u may have missed. And sry that all the link text is white, that’s way 2 much 2 go thru in 1 night (the code is a real pain - trust me - and for some reason links default white…dumb, I kno.), but just hover thru it and u’ll get it. Click the artist or month tags… them videos never get old! Quick note about the recovered posts, all of gowhere?’s posts were backed up as well as my posts (THRU THANKSGIVING) were as well. There was a lot of content from myself and Max G. btwn Thanksgiving and about a week ago that was lost 4 good, however.
- Recently, divShare (the file hosting site that we use 2 upload songs) has instilled a limit on the amount of DLs per account. 2day, my account unexpectedly reached that limit and divShare stopped every one of my files from being able 2 DL. Therefore, I have 2 re-upload all the trax for the time-being and just finished with yesterday’s new music and the NEW/old Bullet! U can DL all those w/ no problem, but just hang tight while I re-upload all the rest of the trax. I might not do everything from the past few weeks, so just REQUEST what you want 2 DL in the ShoutBox in the upper right!
- YOU CAN STILL DL MAX G.’S & GOWHERE?’S TRAX!!
- The problem with viewing GWHH in Internet Explorer has been discovered and I went through and fixed all of page 1 and parts of page 2! The rest should be fixed sometime later 2day or 2morrow. For now, still view the site in Firefox or Safari, but you will be able 2 access GWHH with no problem in Internet Explorer very soon!
- Finally, we haven’t forgot about our GWHH family of up and coming artists. Beginning Monday, we’ll try and post all the trax and art from the up and coming artists you have seen before the hack. And you’ll be gettin’ some NEW music from some of these artists as well! Stay tuned!
- Oooh, also, I kno I promised some Cool Kids and hopefully I can get that and some NEW music up by the nitecap. No guarantees tho, will be busy throughout the day, but hopefully Max G. or I will get it up for ya 2day! Anyways, we got a bunch of requests on our hand and we’ll do our best 2 get them up asap! Thx for your continued support!
Ugh, this is a sad, sad day. It is with our deepest regret 2 you all that Gowhere Hip Hop has been hacked, and our 38 pages and 380+ posts have all been deleted and unrecoverable. Everything else on the sides are still functional (such as our ShoutBox and affiliates), but as of right now, all our content has been deleted.
We apologize 2 all our Gowhere Hip Hop fans and daily visitors for this great inconvenience as well as the GWHH Exclusive Artists that use our site as a format 2 launch their aspiring careers.
Please bear with us as we begin this long recovery process. We will start by posting up ALL the old posts which encompass June ‘07 - Early/Mid October ‘07 (backed up thru our old blog). In addition, ALL of gowhere?’s posts thru January were backed up as well and will eventually be posted! While going thru the long and arduous task of re-posting AND re-formatting/tagging all of those posts, we will still continue 2 provide NEW music, news, and videos that will remain at the top! This disclaimer post will remain at the very top throughout the coming days so be sure 2 scroll down for our various updates.
Thanks again for your continued support and we are deeply sorry and upset about this great, unforeseen inconvenience.

Ok, it’s almost 3 AM here in the Chi, and I’m about ready 2 crash for the nite. The past few hours, as u may have noticed, all 3 of us have worked hard 2 recover as many old posts as possible! We have all the posts thru early-mid October backed up on our old blogger site as well as ALL of gowhere?’s posts thru January! However, all of Tibs’ & Max G.’s posts SINCE Mid-October cannot be recovered. Again, bear with us as we continue 2 re-post AND re-format as many of the old posts as we can. Check out Monday’s new updates below and then you’ll see a gap btwn January’s posts and posts from way back in September and beyond (quite funny 2 see our old posts now, haha!) We’ll keep ya updated, so stay tuned!
