The Avant Garde of Hip-Hop; “The Green Complex” is HERE & if it’s not fire, I don’t know what is! Straight from the underground of DC, The Five One Band just dropped the album “The Green Complex”; which is 25 tracks of pure euphoria. They’re only selling it for $5, and it’s a $5 well spent, because the whole album is full of gems. Just listen to the some of the tracks below!

Approaching the art form of Hip-Hop as minimalists, the 3 members of FiveOneBand make their own beats using instruments on pretty much every single track! Their live shows consist of the 3 members, “Red”, “Green”, and “Blue” with their instruments giving an amazing performance. This album is a must have; just picture the Beatles mashed with your favorite rapper and you get a modern Five One Band. The music that they create perfectly compliments the innovative rap, and artistic play with lyrics & sound. The sophisticated cover art was done by this girl Katikut, also perfectly matching the aesthetic of the album. I’ve been bumpin’ this all day since it dropped yesterday! Promote if you can! Much love.

Click the link below to buy the album, and also preview the other incredible tracks from “The Green Complex”!

The Tap Project has kicked off on March 22nd, and is spreading everywhere! The states have been hip to it and now its going international. This is probably one of the greatest ideas of our time. It’s the most ideal marketing strategy i have ever seen, unifying the world to help itself. Watch the video and see what I mean.

Also this game looks awesomE!! I know the above video is completely opposite of this, but wow sick trailer to a must BUY game! hhaha summer everyone will be playing gta4!!

The Five One Band! “The trio’s members, Blue, Red, and Green, are the personification of colors. By Personifying color they are not only artists but art itself, and represent a lack of emphasis on individual identity, and an emphasis on creating music that strives to speak for everyone.

With an eclectic style, constant reinvention with every song, and innovative live shows, Five One strives to define themselves and their art on their own terms, and to always surprise their fans and themselves. Five One has the potential to be one of few hip hop artists that blur the line between genres and have critical acclaim as well commercial success.”

Wow I’m very impressed with how they mesh hip hop, reggae, and other sounds to make this amazing hip hop sound. It’s like Hip Hop Bob Marley! They definitely are pushing their hip hop as an Art form, instead of a cash making machine. I call it Avant-garde hip hop, because it is so innovative. I also enjoy the primary colors metaphor as these colors mashed up can make a lot of other colors! I strongly recommend to play their tracks below and visit their links to keep up with “The One Five Band”. Their sound is very positive and keeps your attention drawn, and entertained. Nod Yer Head Mann. Peace and Love.
