Producer: Cool & Dre & The Game - FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, Untitled, in stores 07.15 *Tibs Fav.™
Aite, so Nas’ upcoming album, Untitled, has been leaked by now and tons of trax have been available everywhere, in addition 2 the ones that have appeared on GWHH. If u want the whole album, I’m sure u can browse our affiliates and find it, but since we don’t post full albums on GWHH and try 2 limit the amount of trax also, I figured I would just post 1 more goodie for ya’ll that wanna sample or wait til 07.15… and it’s Nas’ unique collaboration with The Game & Chris Brown! It may sound surprising, but it’s a very quality track with Nas & The Game ripping over a ridiculous Cool & Dre beat, with CB enhancing the track throughout (listen and you’ll see what I mean..). Def a MUST-DL and I can see the track blowin’ up as a 2nd single with the appealing names and production involved. Below, we’re playing catch-up with 16 trax total from the past few days (since we let the Kidz In The Hall interview and Mr. Music get the well-deserved, extended spotlight) featuring a ton of big names. A few thoughts… Usher track is RIDICULOUS… pretty sure that’s a snippet but it’s a 2:51 long snippet, if that, and it’s HOT! Also, u may notice the same song by Lloyd and Sterling Simms, and well, that’s cuz it is… it’s just a different singer for each version. The early edge goes 2 Sterling IMO, but I’ll need a few more listens. Other than that, u can peep my favs below and I’m sure u’ll find somethin’ u like, in addition 2 the video premiere of Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli”! Enjoy!
And in some bad news, fellow blogger gowhere? cannot access GWHH where he is staying in China because he’s in a restricted area or something like that. So unfortunately, it looks like we won’t be getting the unique posts from gowhere? until mid-August when he’s finally back in the States. But u kno Max G. & myself will be holdin’ it down for ya!
12:10PM - Just upped “Swing Your Rag” by T.I., produced by Swizz Beatz (formerly known as “Louis Rag”). It’s the clean version, but the previous version was littered w/ shout outs. Def update ur iTunes w/ this one below. Shouts 2 Z for sending this thru!
1. Kanye West
2. Jay-Z
3. Lil’ Wayne
4. Rick Ross
5. Snoop Dogg
6. 50 Cent
7. Lupe Fiasco
8. Young Jeezy
9. Andre 3000
10. T.I.
No surprise 2 me as Kanye West was named MTV’s #1 Hottest MC of 2008 after the success of Graduation catapulted the Chicago MC into super-duperstardom. Haha. Kanye’s on another planet right now and very deserving of the #1 spot IMHO. Not 2 many beefs w/ the list IMO as well, although I think I’d switch T.I. and Dre 3000 and 50 and Lupe. Yes, I’m biased on Lupe but his star is quickly on the rise whereas Curtis’ is quickly on the fall. Still I can see the argument as 50 and Snoop Dogg still have more commercial appeal than Lupe at this point. Oh yeah, Rick Ross #4?!?! I hear they’ll be re-airing the special on MTV 2nite (debuted yesterday) so check ur local listings if ur interested. Below you can find a couple nice R&B trax by 2 of the most talented females of the genre - Mrs. Tibs Jay-Z & Jennifer Hudson. (I usually don’t go 2 pics in a post but I think u can forgive me on this 1 :D) The trax are really nice listens tho and you shouldn’t hesitate to DL the slower R&B jams below! Enjoy!
FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold*Tibs Fav.
The NEW album from Minneapolis hip hop group Atmosphere will be released this Tuesday (the 22nd) and above is a track from that album that I’m really likin called “In Her Music Box”! It concludes the album and Slug had this 2 say about the track,
“It’s about a little girl who learned how to use and abuse escapism through music. It finishes the story [of the album]. When we made this song, I knew the minute it was finished it would be the last song on the album.”
You can read full track by track comments like the one above for the whole album by Atmosphere HERE!
Below, we got the latest from CHI-Town’s own Yung Berg with Fabolous, Young Buck, Snoop, & The Outlawz, and a video premiere from Buckshot, 9th Wonder, Talib Kweli, & Tyler Woods! Enjoy!
For Old School Sundays here are some of my favorite videos for rappers in the media! Hahah Check ‘em all out cuz they’re too funny.
Okay, so in this video Chicago rapper Shala who is part of Qualo talks to CNN correspondent about offensive rap lyrics in response to Chicago Anti Rap ads. It seems like every ten years or so anti rap campaigns start up, and it’s the same cycle. The media is horrible at really talking about this, because they take an offensive side, which makes it an offensive defensive conversation that always gets out of hand as rappers and media peeps lose their cool. It seems like impossible to have an educated debate over it. But it sure is entertaining to watch. That CNN dude needs to chill out and have a peaceful convo cuz he’s SNAPPIN’ LOL. I can’t believe Shala said “snappin’” on CNN…..and I can’t believe CNN thought Ludacris’ “Move Bitch, Get Out The Way” lyrics specifically referred to women. WOW.
Cam’ron is just hilarious, must see interview above. He’s just a funny character.
Snoop got denied visitation to England, because of his 11 criminal violations, so he went to the Netherlands instead. While there check this funny interview he had…hahah.
And this is the response from the opposing end to the interview above. (Kinda Lame)
Above is the another HOT Ne-Yo track that all the R&B heads will enjoy. He’s simply one of the elite singer/songwriters in the game 2day and this is just more evidence 2 that. Below there’s 3 more tracks I like from Mickey Factz (I like that Malik Sealy reference) & N.E.R.D., Busta Rhymes (sick, fast flow on this track), and Beyonce (a nice slow jam). Chris Brown also released his official video for “Take Me Down”, which doubles as a live performance. That circular moving thing he is on is cool. And finally, u GOT 2 watch the hilarious cartoon video of Akon calling T-Pain with Snoop Dogg making an appearance at the end. Absolute bonkers, haha! Enjoy!

Diddy has been getting the best beat-makers for his MTB projects, which definitely enhance their sound. Both albums also drop on 03.18, so if ur a big fan of both, u should be in the stores that day. Finally, check out a cool look inside Timbaland’s studio and Snoop LIVE on Letterman from last nite! Enjoy!
I can’t upload the link from where I’m at, but you can head over 2 the guys at Ill Roots and DL their exclusive Talib Kweli & Mick Boogie mixtape! It looks real hot with all the joints that weren’t on Ear Drum, as well as some brand NEW mixes! Featured guests include KRS-One, Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes, & MORE! Also below, check out a Snoop Dogg video premiere! Enjoy!
