First off, daaamn, how old is that pic? JL’s still got the fro in that one, haha! Secondly, the HQ really makes me fall in love w/ this track. JL is sooo catchy on the hook and Kanye sooo clever in his verse, all over an addicting beat that I’m speculating was a Neptunes production.. Def a great song for the fellas breakin’ up w/ their girl, as the title insinuates. Anyway, these are 2 of my absolute favs, so you kno I’ma dig this track from the 2 of the 3 heavyweights of G.O.O.D. Music (I see u Common, and everyone will see u ‘Quence!) Luckily there’s a ton of nice releases comin’ our way before October 28th when Evolver comes out, so I’ll be pleasantly distracted until then. Down below, not thaaat much to distract me from “It’s Over” OR Year Of The Gentleman (I’ma try 2 get up a review soon), but Wale spits some nice rhymes and Jennifer Hudson is, well, Jennifer Hudson, so u’d expect a nice slow jam from her. Had 2 MediaFire the track above cuz zShare had probs w/ just that file and not the ones below, but anyway, NEW JL & Kanye! It’s HQ, but not CDQ b/c the track was premiered on that radio show. I like it though. Kanye’s on the autotune once again, but it’s not annoying. JL is pretty nice on the chorus 2 the midtempo track. I’m expecting the CDQ version soon. Some NEW hip hop from some big names here, starting off w/ the latest from Ludacris! As you should expect with Luda, his rhymes are clever and on point, even referencing the Indiana Pacers from the infamous brawl and Alonzo Mourning, which makes this NBA fan appreciate it even more. I’m not feelin’ the Don Cannon beat like I know some are, but it’s not a bad one and compliments Luda well. Down below are a couple trax from Nelly, featuring a host of big names like T.I., R. Kelly, and ‘it’ producer, Polow Da Don. I’m not really into them, but I know they’ll attract the ears of many others. Further down is the video premiere to one of my favorite songs of 2008, “Let It Rock” by Kevin Rudolf f/ Lil’ Wayne! The video is a nice one, with some cool laser special effects, and before today, I haven’t seen what Kevin Rudolf looks like, and it was a fun surprise when I watched the video, haha. But it’s a great track and dug it up from our summer archives for those who don’t have it already! Don’t forget to peep interviews w/ Erykah Badu & Immortal Technique as well as some upcoming events in the Chi f/ Twista that you shouldn’t sleep on if ur in the area. Enjoy!

I’ll begin this update with a hilarious cartoon of Chamillionaire, further promoting his upcoming Mixtape Messiah 4, which will be available 08.27 (not 2day like the track states at the end… it’s just a drop that’s part of the mixtape). Btw, I also gotta say the promotion for MM4 has been on point - all the posters and the video above is unlike anything I’ve seen for promotion in recent memory and Chamillionaire’s team deserves some dap for their efforts. Anyway, the track is another great one w/ Chamillionaire firing back at the hating that goes on around the web. His rhymes are slick and his passion evident, especially as the track progresses and he shows some emotion from an internet nerd’s perspective. Very very interesting track that is a MUST-DL for music fans. Of course watch out for MM4 on the 27th! Lupe’s verse has been out for over a year already - it was featured on the 2007 mixtape, Sneakerboxx/The Laces Below, but it is mashed into a full song w/ Wale’s and Offishall’s verses (not sure if they are recycled also..)! Above is the NEW EP from Nikki Jean and her group - Nouveau Riche - and it’s a unique mix of some hip hop and some rock combined with Nikki’s vocals that you should open your ears 2. It is 8 trax that are surely unique compared 2 anything else u are likely listening 2 now so you should definitely DL above if you’re looking for something NEW and fresh 2 bump in ur stereo. And not only does the Free Money EP have a fresh sound, but also verses and lyrics with a message - “Melody” being my early favorite. As for 2day’s update, Bullet came thru with an album sampler, which is a sweet concept of 30 second snippets of every track from the album, which will be released July 29th!!! It all sounds good, with the snippet at around 4:50 sounding real promising! Aite, so Nas’ upcoming album, Untitled, has been leaked by now and tons of trax have been available everywhere, in addition 2 the ones that have appeared on GWHH. If u want the whole album, I’m sure u can browse our affiliates and find it, but since we don’t post full albums on GWHH and try 2 limit the amount of trax also, I figured I would just post 1 more goodie for ya’ll that wanna sample or wait til 07.15… and it’s Nas’ unique collaboration with The Game & Chris Brown! It may sound surprising, but it’s a very quality track with Nas & The Game ripping over a ridiculous Cool & Dre beat, with CB enhancing the track throughout (listen and you’ll see what I mean..). Def a MUST-DL and I can see the track blowin’ up as a 2nd single with the appealing names and production involved. Below, we’re playing catch-up with 16 trax total from the past few days (since we let the Kidz In The Hall interview and Mr. Music get the well-deserved, extended spotlight) featuring a ton of big names. A few thoughts… Usher track is RIDICULOUS… pretty sure that’s a snippet but it’s a 2:51 long snippet, if that, and it’s HOT! Also, u may notice the same song by Lloyd and Sterling Simms, and well, that’s cuz it is… it’s just a different singer for each version. The early edge goes 2 Sterling IMO, but I’ll need a few more listens. Other than that, u can peep my favs below and I’m sure u’ll find somethin’ u like, in addition 2 the video premiere of Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli”! Enjoy!
And in some bad news, fellow blogger gowhere? cannot access GWHH where he is staying in China because he’s in a restricted area or something like that.
