Another quick update for ya starting with the supposed, official video from the freestyle in Singapore called “Pinocchio Story” that appears as a hidden track on Kanye West’s 808’s & Heartbreak. Some strong visuals in that one along with the video premiere for a song that keeps growing on me, “Arab Money” by Busta Rhymes f/ Ron Browz. And there’s a couple trax for ya ears as well with a NEW song from Q-Tip and Naledge (Of Kidz In The Hall) cleverly spittin’ a freestyle over Q-Tip’s “Move”. Big ups to the Bulls references in that freestyle, which got me thinkin’… why didn’t I post the ridiculous Derrick Rose highlights over Andre Miller yesterday? I mean, I was watchin’ it all day Monday and still watchin’ it 2day… why not share to you guys as well? That video is below also. Crazy. Enjoy!

GLC and Kanye rap w/ clarity (sans autotune) and overall, you can’t ask for much more. Nice lyrics that all evoke a message throughout the song that is pretty obvious when you hear it on first listen. Def a MUST-DL (thx 2 DJ L-Gee)! Check out another upcoming G.O.O.D. Music and Chicago artist, Really Doe, with his latest leak called “My City”! As u can assume from the title, Really Doe examines his hometown of Chicago and while some Morgan Freeman snippets are nicely sprinkled in the track, I’m not totally feelin’ the beat. MORE H-Town heat for ya ears, with the featured track of this 2nd post 2day comin’ from another Houston rapper, Slim Thug! It’s a real hot, Jim Jonsin produced beat that is inspired by the classic from A Flock Of Seagulls’ “I Ran”! For the younger generation like myself, that likable song was the title track for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and is instantly recognizable with Slim Thug’s clear southern style overlaying the similar chorus. Down below, a few more solid trax, including a nice Swizz Beatz radio rip that I think I’ll like more once the CDQ version is released. It’s certainly catchy, as u should expect from Swizzy. They compliment each other really nicely as the beat does not overshadow Jay Electronica’s voice and lyrics, but rather enhances the power of them. Obama and social issues are quite the discussion in many of the trax in the post, including Jay’s up above, as well as the trax from Nas, Q-Tip, Busta, Jake One, Mikkey Halsted, & R&B’s Ray Lavender. Some thoughts: T.I. has a Transporter look goin’ on and also an interesting choice of showin’ himself gettin’ beat down, but I like that - it plays out pretty cool, but not feelin’ the Sox hat Tip, haha. (We’re Cubs fans here.) Most of all, I like the video as a whole and the story it tells throughout. Once T.I. & Rihanna get 2gether in the bar scene, the video picks up and from then on, it’s really sweet.
