Fitting that the feature track perfectly describes my feeling right now - “Cloud 9″. While Slum Village is on “Cloud 9″ because of a girl, I am on Cloud 9 because of yet another epic, multiple overtime victory from the Chicago Bulls (more on that below). But as alluded to above, Slum Village raps over a powerful, soothing production with the talented Marsha Ambrosius also providing vocals. Certainly a good hip hop track to start off your Friday!
Down below, T.I. kills an otherwise mediocre track on “Mind On My Money” (*rolls eyes* at that hook) and Busta Rhymes takes the place of Kanye West on the brilliantly produced “Maybach Music II”. His verse is definitely solid but not enough to keep it in rotation. Even though it’s his track, if there’s one rapper to replace on that, it’s the gritty Ross, which is less of a fit over the smooth production (not to say Ross was atrocious or anything). Pete Rock and Fabolous round out the handful of trax and video premieres from Busta Rhymes and The-Dream conclude the new content to start off your morning. Enjoy!

In other Chicago news, the Bulls extended what many are already considering the best playoff series ever to a 7th game in Boston with a thrilling, TRIPLE overtime victory. Derrick Rose (above) swats Rajon Rondo’s game-winning attempt to seal the game. The play is an iconic definition of the beginning of a very promising NBA career (Rose) and is icing on the cake for this Bulls fan, whose spectrum of most loved player and most hated (sports hated) player starts with Rose on one end and Rondo on the other†. I’ll save you from the 4,207¤ words I could write about the rest of the game and how memorable this one will be for me for years to come. Rather, I’ll just direct your attention to the highlights below in case you missed the game or want to re-live it with the comedic input of Chris Webber and Gary Patyon over a mailed-in nararation from Ahmad Rashad. Game 7 on Saturday @ 7! Enjoy!

† Rondo is farthest left (most hated), followed next by Kendrick Perkins, with Derrick Rose farthest right and Jackie Moon Brian Scalabrine just 2 his left.
Daytona 5 Bill comes thru with a fast-paced hip hop track featuring G.O.O.D. Music’s GLC that is bursting with emotions toward women girls who play games. Fellas will like this track cuz they can likely relate to the anger/frustration (sometimes overly-explicit) and the ladies might like it as well for the addicting, predominantly dance production. GLC kills the first half of his verse, with the Michael Jackson and jheri curls references one right after another and overall, this record could have some legs in my rotation and is one that I appreciate more than anything.
Down below, A.J. Crew comes thru with an addicting feature on Nonamus’ “Is” and a new version of “TxtMsgAlrt!”. I prefer the original, but this ‘Nonamix’ is more for the dance crowd. Definitely feelin’ the Musiq Soulchild feature as well and still up on “Gifted”, which some of my friends have wanted since its recent video premiere. I was able to locate an extended version of that one, which we didn’t have before. Not 100% positive if that’s the official, extended version as it’s different than the video’s extended version. *shrugs*. The one video that you MUST watch is Melanie Fiona’s cover of Kanye West’s “Heartless”. If you want to see some raw singing talent and versatility, then look no further (or maybe you’ll be swayed by Talib Kweli’s co-sign… as long as you recognize). Browse it all above and below and you’ll likely find somethin’ you’ll like. Enjoy!

FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming mixtape, Damage Reversal *Tibs Fav.™
lupEND is the home of the exclusives for FNF’s Bishop G, and he came thru w/ another track from his upcoming mixtape, Damage Reversal! Bishop G has always been a talented lyricist and this is another example of his skills there. He doesn’t spit with the same fast flow that I’m accustomed to but that’s not a bad thing, considering the subject of the song. Def a solid track hip hop fans would like. Also be sure to check out the Terrace Martin and Pete Rock collaboration with the title of the song pretty much explaining what type of song it is. I don’t listen to jazz much, but I love the genre of music and when combined with hip hop, it sounds great as you should see from the track there. (Thx 2 HHU for the track.. had 2 MediaFire it cuz zShare wouldn’t upload that for some reason..) Browse the rest of music & vids featuring other names like Robin Thicke, Ludacris, Avant, Blu, & MORE! Enjoy!
“Your prayers have been answered!! There’s a new version of Love Lockdown coming. We used new taiko drums and I re-sung it… it’s being Mastered now… Sidebar… if you don’t like autotune… too bad cause I love it and have been using it since the College Dropout!!!” - Kanye West
Well, autotune or not, I’m still looking forward to the new version and the new album! I’d expect this NEW, mastered version sometime in the near future! …And 1 more thing, I’m off 2 Target to pick up Ne-Yo’s Year Of The Gentleman… and you should 2!

Enjoy a bunch of videos for 2day as our boy Lupe Fiasco performs “Paris, Tokyo” LIVE for the lucky people spending spring break in Panama City Beach, Florida with MTV. They get a special treat as well since Matthew Santos jumped on the chorus a couple of times and really enhanced the performance. Lupe was Lupe as usual, lookin’ quite fly while doin’ it 2. Below, are a couple more LIVE performance videos featuring Day26, a Will.I.Am. video premiere, and an interesting interview with the legendary Pete Rock! Enjoy!
