Thanks 2 S-Preme in our Jabbify, I was able 2 catch the world premiere of the long-anticipated “Everyone Nose RMX” on BET’s 106 & Park and thx 2 Connie over @ OnSmash w/ the send-thru, we have the video online and above @ GWHH! I was expecting big things from the video and it delivered. I love the crazy, fresh effects throughout and the video game / electronic type elements illustrated, w/ everyone lookin’ and actin’ all fly throughout the video. It definitely personifies the style of N*E*R*D and its equally fresh guest features - Kanye, Lupe, & Pusha T from Clipse. I’ve also been thinking about who delivers the best verse out of the 4 in this track for quite some time now, and I’ma throw it out there that if I had 2 choose one who really really killed it, it’s Pusha T. His flow is just ridiculous over the awesome beat and people shouldn’t sleep on him w/ CRS likely overshadowing him on this song 2 the casual fan. Any thoughts on this as well? Chat or comment away! (I should note tho that Kanye, and Lupe especially shine brighter lyrically..) It’s a MUST-WATCH video so please take the time 2 check it out above! A bunch of hip hop for ya’ll 2day on this Sunday with Joe Budden & Obie Trice sounding off on the industry and their situations in some pretty deep trax. Budden just goes off on the 5+ minute track, still going as the beat fades out, and he shares some details on the industry that he can see through the artist’s eyes and name-drops plenty of fellow rappers 2 paint a clear picture. It’s straight up ridiculous. Obie comes thru with a solid track describing the fallout after his breakup with Shady Records. Busta Rhymes releases his version of “A Milli”… before u hate.. I didn’t mean that exactly b/c he simply grabbed “A Milli” producer Bangladesh 2 create a similar beat for an original song that could grow on me, but I know many ppl will enjoy on first listen. First off, I’m really feelin’ the cover art (I got that Michael Jordan Dream Team USA jersey! :D) for The Cool Kids’ upcoming That’s Stupid! mixtape and the first track leaked from there is a hot one! The beat reminds me a lil of The Neptunes-produced “Money Maker”, the smash hit by Luda & Pharrell, but it’s not nearly the same also. Definitely a fresh beat and a song that would be even more ridiculous seen live! Below is more from the abundance of old, unreleased trax from Lupe, Kanye, etc., and it’s old Lupe on his G swag, but still comin’ thru w/ some intellect (Napoleon Bonaparte, haha!). Some NEW music above as the Pharoahe Monch freestyle awhile back on “The Healer” has been put 2gether for the official RMX! It’s a nice, unique track from 2 unique artists, and as a quick sidenote, I’ve read that Erykah Badu is quite the live performer and pulls out all the stops in her shows. Her performance stands out in Dave Chappelle’s Block Party and all her new tunes have been pretty sweet. So check that out above along with another GLC track (thx Andrew), the latest from Obie Trice & Musiq Soulchild, as well as a couple requests, including, as u may notice, a recent Lil’ Wayne song that I actually like, haha. Here is the NEW video by Obie Trice “Wanna Know RMX” f/ Saigon! For those who don’t know, the original song was featured in the hit HBO comedy Entourage in “The Sundance Kids” episode back in Season 2. Naturally, Obie collaborated with Saigon, who played a recurring role in the series, for the remix. The audio has been out for awhile, but the music video just premiered! The video has a heavy Entourage influence, and since I am a huge fan of the show, I really enjoyed the clever nuances that were featured in the video. The original is the verison that appears on the Entourage soundtrack that you can purchase HERE! And you can DL the audio of the remix below! Enjoy!
