Finally back with some loose ends from some major artists, including The Game up above. It’s a nice track with a mellow beat that takes a backseat to Game’s lyrics. Down below, check out the latest from Jay-Z with a track that is produced by Kanye West. I’m not really feelin’ it but I know a lot of you will so be sure 2 check that one out right under this. There’s also some more trax featuring a couple nice ones from up and comers Jay Electronica and B.o.B. as well as some other names like Jamie Foxx, Baby Bash, & Colin Munroe! And of course there’s a couple videos featuring Common & Immortal Technique to be viewed below as well. Enjoy!
Producer: Timbaland - FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, In A Perfect World… *Tibs Fav.™
Above is a brand NEW track from my girl Keri Hilson featuring her mentor Timbaland! It’s got a nice Timbo beat and equally nice lyrics; the duet reminds me of the Nelly Furtado / Timbaland mega-hit “Promiscuous”, but it’s not as dumbed-down, yet also not as catchy. Either way, it’s a good track and Keri’s debut album should hit stores this fall! Down below is some more trax from the Saturday - starting w/ a real nice slow jam from Ne-Yo, and the rest featuring many hip hop artists that are not mainstream names, yet still doin’ their thing. Peep them below and DL what u like. Enjoy!
Fyi, Sunday is another travel day for me; updates from me will be sparse, but as always, I’ll try and get a big update up sometime later in the day!
Here’s a few good hip hop trax for ya ears. The story behind the J. Dilla / Kanye collabo is interesting and here’s Kanye’s explanation straight from his blog.
“Never heard this song till now….I made this beat in 2001, of course right after Takeover…we were havin’ problems clearing the Doors sample so I made this version originally 4 Big Bro Hov.” - Kanye West
Ya’ll should check out the final product above and the hip hop trax below f/ The Roots and Pharoahe Monch. I also threw up a video premiere featuring Colby O’ Donis and Akon and u can click the links below 2 take a look at some news articles below pertaining the upcoming albums and projects for Common & Alicia Keys! Enjoy!
2007 is almost over and this year we saw MCs like Common, Talib, Lupe, and of course Kanye step up with their new albums but there were artists that people should have been talking about instead of Soulja Boy. I put up a link to my favorite track from the albums they released this year so check em out!
