HUGE update for 2day, encompassing some music from yesterday, but we wanted 2 keep Mr. Music up on top for awhile (DL “Makin Me Sweat”! It’s ridiculous..). Anyway, above is a dope mixtape from The Cool Kids. I just love their unique sound and this is more of the same! Below are some leaked Nas trax off Untitled, ur “A Milli” fix with T-Pain, Trey Songz, and the video by Ne-Yo (still baffles me why everyone is jumping on this, literally..), and some more trax and vids featuring Akon, Lloyd, Kidz In The Hall, & many more! Enjoy!
“Happy flowers for the lady keeps the monster away”
Yeahh… so this one is brand spankin’ new and one of my favs from the boy James Grady! I love the metaphor and the violent Mickey. Pretty G. Also some G tracks below. SaWeet!
Also in other news GWHH Designer Max G. designs the invites/etc. for Perez Hilton’s One Night In Toronto. The event which is thrown by Perez Hilton, sponsored by Calvin Klein, and presented by BMF Media will be off the chain including special guests Simple Plan! This after party to the Much Music awards is sure to be crawling with many hot celebs, but unfortunately is invite only!
So I was teased into thinkin’ the above version of “Stop Playin’” was the FULL, FINAL version featuring Usher & Michael Jackson, BUT this 4:42 long song still has no Michael Jackson vocals and I did some digging and it seems like the track is complete, save for a verse for Michael Jackson, which is either happening at the end or in place of Ryon Lovett’s 1st verse. Phew, so hopefully u followed that. I’d DL this extended version anyway… my thoughts… Usher is awesome over this track, but T-Pain… what is T-Pain doing on this track? He ruins it with his trademark autotuner crap, except that it sounds awful in that chorus. When used properly, the autotuner enhances the song, but in this case, even T-Pain might be getting a lil carried away. Ugh, why can’t this just be an Usher / Michael Jackson duet..?? It’s what everybody wants 2 hear! Oh well, down below, u can enjoy a couple trax from R&B singers Taio Cruz & Casely and the video premiere for Yung Berg’s rising single, “The Business”! Enjoy!
Slow Sunday for some hot trax, but I saw this unofficial compilation of a ton of artists over “Flashing Lights” featuring old verses from all of the above (For ex: Lupe & Santos’ “Superstar” is over the “Flashing Lights” beat.) Nonetheless, it makes for a nice listen if u can’t get enough of “Flashing Lights” (which I can’t, haha.) Down below are some big names like The Game, Akon, Pharrell, but I’m not really feelin’ any of those trax. No bigger names tho than USHER & MICHAEL JACKSON, who are apparently collaborating (with T-Pain tho… ugh) and the snippet is out on their song. We’ll see how the full version turns out but so far it sounds pretty sick! The song is credited w/ the artists listed below and shouted out by T-Pain on the track, but again, we’ll see when the full version leaks! Enjoy!
Above is the VIDEO PREMIERE 2 my boy Trey Songz’ latest single “The Last Time” (prod. by Bryan-Michael Cox)! Ironically, I just put in Trey Day again yesterday, gettin’ psyched for Sunday when I am likely going 2 see Trey Songz in concert since he’s rollin thru Minneapolis! “The Last Time” was one of the songs I threw on repeat again, haha. I really like the video as well - tells a great story, along w/ the lyrics and just wow @ the 2 girls, haha! Not sure it can blow up as huge as “Can’t Help But Wait”, but it should still get a lot of exposure from the momentum of CHBW’s success!
Below is the NEW audio, some hip hop from KRS-One & Blu as well as some R&B featuring Lloyd, snippets from Ne-Yo, One Chance, & Francisco, & MORE! AND we got some requests featuring Lupe Fiasco and the Michael Jackson/Kanye West collabo! (NOTE: I don’t know of the song “T.I.M.E.” by Lupe Fiasco and I have every Lupe song I could find. Any more info about that would be great.. sry for the delay on getting these requests up!) Enjoy!
Still can’t get enough of the soon-to-be NUMBER ONE ALBUM IN THE COUNTRY? (that’s right, 50!) Well, below are the samples from Kanye West’s Graduation (thanks to my fellow blogger Gowhere for some of the tracks)! You know Kanye brings it on the beats with samples from some various genres of music and this is no exception. If you’re a fan of rock, r&b, hip-hop, or just a huge ‘Ye fan like us, then you’ll enjoy the variety of songs that ‘Ye sampled and they’ll be a great addition to your music library.
You can now preview songs off the blog with one click (the divShare media player) and still click on the link to DL the song straight to your iTunes or other media player of choice!
My personal favs… Daft Punk, Labi Siffre “My Song” sooo good, Steely Dan - the “Champion” sample is ridiculous, and can’t go wrong w/ Michael Jackson haha.
