HUGE update filled w/ NEW trax and vids, none more powerful than Chicago’s Big Hit Buda with the “Elect Obama RMX” video! The song is a powerful message for change, of course supporting Obama from the title. Big Hit Buda sums it up as simple as possible as 2 why Obama is the man for positive change for this country in the biggest election of our nation’s history. The video itself is incredible as it illustrates many recognizable Chicago landmarks, but also gives viewers a unique look at the Chicago culture, featuring scenes of the busy streets and the bucket boys that I really love who are also scattered at major pedestrian spots across the ‘Go. It also enhances the message of the lyrics with powerful imagery that keeps u locked. Def a MUST-WATCH video above!
Down below, predominantly hip hop trax featuring Chamillionaire, Little Brother, Cassidy and a nice R&B jam by Bobby Valentino (altho I’m skeptical that’s not a finished version). There’s also a ton of videos 2 enjoy with video premieres from T-Pain & Ludacris, TWO black & white video premieres from Beyoncé, & various videos featuring Lupe Fiasco, Consequence, M.I.A., & MORE! Enjoy!
Here’s a sweet slow banger from Chicago’s Bump J w/ Trey Songz on the hook! The slow flow of Bump J compliments the real nice slow hip hop jam and this is yet another example of Trey Songz shining on the hook, “..From the Chi 2 the V, gotta know who we be, it’s the Prince and the G for life!” Also be sure 2 check out featured trax from heavyweights Jay-Z & Lil’ Wayne as well as a GWHH Exclusive video premiere of Hi-Tek & Chip Tha Ripper in studio! Enjoy!
Thx again 2 BOBO for sendin’ this track our way - a nice track that reminds me a lot of Plies “Bust It Baby Pt. 2″ f/ Ne-Yo. Haha. The parallels would be almost eerie if this track hit the top 10 on the Billboard charts. 2 me, Jadakiss is a mediocre rapper (like Plies) and grabs Ne-Yo for a hook and comes up w/ a radio-friendly love song. Jada actually rips pretty well on the verses and I like the lyrics in general, esp. Ne-Yo on the hook and the Eric Hudson beat. Below, a bunch of R&B, including 3 trax by my boy on the rise, Casely! He’s always got the hot, bangin’ club beats and his voice compliments them well. I like all 3 of the trax below and fans of the new age R&B will eat those up for sure. He’s really the only one who warrants mentioning… a solid track by One Chance and a pleasant hook by Trey Songz can be found down there as well. U know what 2 do. Enjoy!

Ne-Yo just continues 2 blow me away. “Stop This World” is another beautiful slow jam from the R&B star where I think the lyrics avoid cliché and make the song an instant hit on 1st listen! “Stop This World” seems like it is the perfect closing track for Year Of The Gentleman, which hits stores next Tuesday! I’ve heard about half the album already and it is already a MUST-BUY for you R&B and music fans, and “Stop This World” just made me as excited as possible for the 16th. Also out on the 16th is new-comer R&B singer Colby O’Donis’ debut album, Colby O, and u can peep a solid, uptempo track from him that is certainly a unique one I enjoy. It also warrants mentioning that Trey Songz absolutely kills M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” and it really showcases the talents that make him special. I always thought he had a ridiculous voice, which is on display again, but his flow is somethin’ I even underrated and that’s what makes his “Paper Planes RMX” special. He flows like M.I.A. to kick it off and follows with a couple real nice and fast rap verses, with some singing in between. I’ve been in a Songz mood recently and always happy 2 hear more from the VA crooner. There’s some more trax below and the “Hi Hater RMX” video premiere so take a look at those. (The Game spits Lamar Odom’s stat line and is clueless about why he’s not an all-star.. haha, awesome. …He’s still not an all-star tho, Game, sry 2 say..) Enjoy!
Oh yeah, if u haven’t heard by now, Kanye West’s 4th album will be entitled, 808’s & Heartbreak and comin’ out on December 16th - right in time for the holiday season. The title and “Love Lockdown” as the 1st single are pretty indicative of an album dealing with the emotion of love, which I’m excited to see Kanye tackle as he hasn’t really gone that deep on the topic in the past. But who knows? I’m just speculating…
HUGE update as I haven’t had time 2 post in the past 24 hrs… which is like a year or 2 in the world of the blogs. Hope u beared through and can see the boatload of NEW trax and vids featuring Lauryn Hill above w/ the feature track - a long, nice soulful song that was previously unreleased! Down below, a bunch of big names including a few trax from LL Cool J’s upcoming album, Exit 13, and trax f/ 50 Cent, Young Jeezy, Ciara, T-Pain, Donnie Klang, & MUCH MORE! Don’t forget 2 check out the ultra-fresh video from the U.K.’s Wiley f/ Kenna and a nice Daft Punk sample! And Consequence fans have GOT 2 scroll down as well. Enjoy!
N*E*R*D “Everyone Nose RMX” f/ Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, & Pusha T
VIDEO PREMIERE!
Thanks 2 S-Preme in our Jabbify, I was able 2 catch the world premiere of the long-anticipated “Everyone Nose RMX” on BET’s 106 & Park and thx 2 Connie over @ OnSmash w/ the send-thru, we have the video online and above @ GWHH! I was expecting big things from the video and it delivered. I love the crazy, fresh effects throughout and the video game / electronic type elements illustrated, w/ everyone lookin’ and actin’ all fly throughout the video. It definitely personifies the style of N*E*R*D and its equally fresh guest features - Kanye, Lupe, & Pusha T from Clipse. I’ve also been thinking about who delivers the best verse out of the 4 in this track for quite some time now, and I’ma throw it out there that if I had 2 choose one who really really killed it, it’s Pusha T. His flow is just ridiculous over the awesome beat and people shouldn’t sleep on him w/ CRS likely overshadowing him on this song 2 the casual fan. Any thoughts on this as well? Chat or comment away! (I should note tho that Kanye, and Lupe especially shine brighter lyrically..) It’s a MUST-WATCH video so please take the time 2 check it out above! That’s all I really got for now, besides a boatload of trax and other videos for ya below! Hip hop, R&B, Underground, Mainstream, something for everyone so just check it out below! Enjoy!
Aite so this post is full of goodies for ya eyes and ears, starting with yet another Chicago rapper who deserves some shine - Mic Terror! Shouts 2 Eddie for sending us the MP3s for a couple trax u may enjoy - the first being a solo track from Mic Terror, that is a cleverly dirty track with some lines that truthfully made me laugh out loud. And as a bonus DL, check out the track from M.I.A. f/ Mic Terror & Timbaland that is a typical, fast-paced banger from the hands of Timbo. I’m seriously diggin’ both those trax above so take my word and DL them and give ‘em a chance. Down below, u can learn more about Mic Terror w/ his Vimby profile! (Shouts 2 Eddie S. for the send thrus - scroll down for more updates…)
