Back from work and here w/ a large update featuring a boatload of trax-n-vids! The feature track coming from the Mountain Dew-led campaign via Green Label Sound, who will be releasing trax from up and comers like The Cool Kids exclusively on their website for free. More artists will soon be announced and there will also be a coinciding promotional tour featuring the artists. The project sounds very interesting w/ The Cool Kids comin’ thru w/ another solid banger, featuring some clever wordplay! A few notes on the updates below… Naledge & Lupe each had their own version of “Mean & Vicious” and I think the rare mixtape trax have been molded 2gether into 1 track, which u can DL below! Lupe’s 2nd verse remains one of my all-time favorites, so if u don’t yet have “Mean & Vicious”, u GOT 2 DL the version below! A few more thoughts, not 100 pct. positive that’s indeed Bobby V and/or Timbaland on the snippet at the bottom of the update, but its credited 2 them, so we’ll go w/ it, and finally check out the funny video trailer from our man Chip Tha Ripper, promoting his NEW mixtape coming soon and I get ya caught up on The Game Vs. Here we are again with some more NEW trax for ya ears, with the latest from Chi-Town’s Twista (shouts 2 Andrew) and he is back with the same ridiculously fast, twisted Chicago flow we are all accustomed 2. Idk if it really shouts “1st single” but it’s certainly a solid track with a nice message dealing w/ relationships, basically summarized by the sample in the chorus. Down below, more sickness from Joe Budden thx 2 J.D. and another track that I’m really feelin’ on 1st listen by R&B singer, Mario! It’s got a fast, yet not annoying Jazze Pha beat (sometimes his productions get repetitive) and the lyrics are a good one and Mario’s got one of the more pleasing voices in the game. Finally, a couple video premieres for ya eyes n ears w/ “Don’t Turn Back” by Colby O’Donis, which coincidentally is a track that’s finally growing on me. While the video is nothin special, it is a cool one featuring some dancing and a very sexy brunette that Colby steals from a dude with a rough goatee, haha. The other video premiere - young up and coming R&B singer Karina Pasian w/ “Can’t Find The Words”, more proof that she could be something very special for years 2 come. Enjoy!

Happy Independence Day with a TON of NEW trax, including the latest from T.I.P. up above.. He goes a lil’ slow flow on the chorus, trying 2 recapture some “What You Know” magic, and I think it is effective on first-listen, but we’ll see how long that lasts. It is a quality track that the T.I. fans should enjoy and it could very well be the first single off Paper Trail. Down below, u gotta DL a couple trax from Chicago artists - Naledge & Malik Yusef. The Malik Yusef is pretty much a spoken word and it’s pretty cool. Both are MUST-DLs. And finally, check out the boatload of NEW R&B trax (in large part, thanks 2 Urban Music) featuring Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Lloyd, Mario, Bobby Valentino, & MORE! I still need more listens, but on first listen.. Mario “Do For Love” & Trey Songz “High Definition” I’m really feelin’. The above video is an interesting one featuring Lupe Fiasco - an interesting, well done piece on black skateboarders in NYC, featuring a lil’ cameo by Lupe Fiasco describing his skateboarding anthem, “Kick, Push”. The skaters discuss its impact and relevance on skateboarding since the release and the video also includes footage of some neat tricks, of course!

Chip is up on his current events with a nice mention of Big Ben Wallace, a recent aquisition 2 his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers. As an NBA nut, I noticed that right away along with his Carmelo Anthony drop, haha. Def worth a DL 2 see what the best from Cleveland has 2 offer.
