This track really shows Bullet’s lyrical ability as you’ll have 2 really zone in and listen 2 the lyrics 2 fully understand the story that Bullet is telling. It may take a few listens, but it really is a neat story from Bullet’s perspective of life’s experiences. Definitely take note as Bullet keeps making waves throughout the industry - just another Chicago artist soon 2 be hitting it big time! Anyway, I’m predicting the video and the record as a whole will do wonders for The Game’s career and only enhance his rising status as on of the game’s (no pun intended) hottest rappers. Thanks 2 S-Preme in our Jabbify, I was able 2 catch the world premiere of the long-anticipated “Everyone Nose RMX” on BET’s 106 & Park and thx 2 Connie over @ OnSmash w/ the send-thru, we have the video online and above @ GWHH! I was expecting big things from the video and it delivered. I love the crazy, fresh effects throughout and the video game / electronic type elements illustrated, w/ everyone lookin’ and actin’ all fly throughout the video. It definitely personifies the style of N*E*R*D and its equally fresh guest features - Kanye, Lupe, & Pusha T from Clipse. I’ve also been thinking about who delivers the best verse out of the 4 in this track for quite some time now, and I’ma throw it out there that if I had 2 choose one who really really killed it, it’s Pusha T. His flow is just ridiculous over the awesome beat and people shouldn’t sleep on him w/ CRS likely overshadowing him on this song 2 the casual fan. Any thoughts on this as well? Chat or comment away! (I should note tho that Kanye, and Lupe especially shine brighter lyrically..) It’s a MUST-WATCH video so please take the time 2 check it out above! Lollapalooza just wrapped up this weekend - a 3 day music festival featuring over 100 artists, including Chicago heavyweights, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Rhymefest, & The Cool Kids. Some videos of the performances have surfaced the net and u can see them above, especially if you missed the show. Unfortunately, I was unable 2 attend w/ work all weekend so I personally can’t tell u how it was, but the lucky people who were there have been sharing nothing but great reviews! Above, Kanye kills “Put On”, Lupe Fiasco does some pushups, stretching, and even a backflip before launching into “Kick, Push” (haha, that’s great), Rhymefest destroys the stage with “Brand New”, & definitely check out the high quality interview with Mikey Rocks from The Cool Kids where u can learn more about the artist himself and his excitement 2 be @ Lollapalooza! Down below, check out a few trax, especially the rapper K-Smith & R&B singer Mario with their collaboration “Human Nature”. K-Smith drops a few nice lines with Mario sounding awesome over that beat. The Lloyd, U.K. Bonus Track is also somethin’ both R&B and hip hop fans would like! Enjoy!
A bunch of HOT NEW trax for ur Sunday evening, starting w/ 2 nice ones from 2 of the 3 QUEENS of R&B 2day - Mary J. Blige & Beyoncé! (Alicia Keys being the 3rd IMO..) Mary J. covers Ciara’s “Supernatural” and displays a very powerful and beautiful voice while Mrs. Carter kills another uptempo beat that, who knows?, could be an upcoming single on her developing album. Down below, I’m feelin’ a lot more trax including parts of the “Girls Around The World (DJ Khaled RMX)” (T.I. of course), the 2 StarGate produced trax by R&B singers Mario & Dontae, & NYC rappers Fabolous and Lloyd Banks comin’ thru w/ some nice rhymes on their respective trax! Not sure if any of the trax from this update will have an enormous lasting appeal for me, but they’re all certainly enjoyable! Haha, so enjoy!

A few standout trax from the bunch above and below, starting with Ludacris’ latest single (thx 2 Steve-O for the send) that will surely be hitting the radio in due time. It features Chris Brown & Sean Garrett and supposedly is produced by Swizz Beatz. The song is pretty solid on 1st listen and is exactly the type of song that will grow on me over time. The song is aimed squarely at the pop crowd, especially with a unique beat that is also likely 2 annoy some as well. I’m indifferent on the beat, like many of the vocals by Luda & CB, so we’ll see how this track lasts over time. Down below, Trey Songz kills the first verse of the “Girls Around The World RMX” and T.I. & Fabolous kill the “Hi Hater RMX”! Lupe Fiasco: Yeah, I produced the record; Pharrell came up with the name and the idea. And “Us Placers” was the first song that’s like, “Yeah, this could work.”

Above are a couple nice, nice trax from the boy R. Les as he comes thru with another R&B jam as the lyrics is the component that stands out on “Wanna Be Good”. He also remixes his own song with the “I.R.I.N.A. RMX”, showcasing his rap skills over a neat lil beat that features some beat boxing! And yes, he has them - he was a Harvard prodigy and can pretty much do everything, haha. I like both trax that are a nice addition 2 ur library. Naledge (Of Kidz In The Hall).. Mugshot, haha.
“Double O from the hip hop group Kidz In The Hall was assaulted by several bouncers early Saturday morning, July 26, while inside a nightclub in Tempe, AZ following a Kidz In The Hall performance. Group member and friend Naledge, who did not witness the assault on Double O, was arrested outside of the club. Naledge’s attempt to get medical assistance for Double O was misconstrued as a hinderence to the investigation. Reports that no injuries were sustained are false as Double O was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries from the excessive force used by club security. On Sunday morning Double O underwent surgery for one of his injuries. He is still in the hospital, but in stable condition.” (Thx 2 Matt C. for the e-mail!)
The story above pretty much explains it and altho Naledge seems happy (in the mugshot, I’m sure not in general), we hope Double-O can make a speedy recovery and that the incident was nothing more than a misunderstanding. Consequence Behind The Scenes @ The “Disperse” Video
If you have the time, definitely take a great inside look (moreso than the previous videos) of the making of the video “Disperse” - one of my favorite hip hop trax of 2007 by Consequence f/ GLC & Really Doe! Lupe & Cons dancin’ in the beginning is great, Kanye makes a cameo as well, and GLC chillin’ w/ one of the many fine ladies at the end (also showed in yesterday’s update). The video will finally premiere on Monday so check back here for that! Down below, some interesting, solid trax 2 be had with the return of Whitney Houston, collaborating w/ Akon on a song that will likely hit the radio. Whitney is definitely trying 2 comeback and appeal to the younger mainstream audience as she already has Timbaland & Danja on board for her upcoming album, currently slated for November. R&B singer Lloyd is prepping for his 3rd album, Lessons In Love, and this is the last batch of trax that we are sharing here at GWHH before the album hits stores on August 5th! And they are 2 of the better ones, especially the J. Lack produced “I’m Wit It”. If you recall, Lloyd and J. Lack first linked up for the huge hit “Get It Shawty” that was a summer anthem last year and this track is sure to be bumpin’ in the stereos well into the twilight of this summer. It’s not quite the banger as “Get It Shawty” but it’s surely a track that I’m feelin’ and the new-age R&B fans will enjoy as well. Down below peep some more hip hop featuring Rhymefest, an old (unreleased) Nas track, a Lil’ Wayne feature, and especially take the time to watch and respect the genius that is R&B singer/songwriter/producer Ryan Leslie as he gives viewers a special behind the scenes look at the making of his single “Addiction”. R. Les is just goin’ crazy on the boards and on the mic and it’s really neat 2 see his passion translating into the music. As a bonus video as well, check out a rare interview from 1994 back when Ryan Leslie was in high school (and bout 2 enter Harvard, where he graduated at age 19!?!) … I think me and him had the same glasses, haha!
