The feature track above is from an underappreciated R&B star - Joe, who is definitely well known but should shine brighter because of his talented voice. The song above displays that over a new-age R&B beat that we’re all used 2 by now. The lyrics have some nice metaphors that make the song a unique one that R&B fans will think is fresh. Definitely a track 2 add 2 ur R&B collection, as well as the Sterling Simms (and StarGate produced) track below called “Eyes”. And Robin Thicke kills the chorus of the Eve track below, which is set to an ominous beat that isn’t typical of R&B. Also below, check out the latest from The Game, which is an interesting song that might grow on me featuring Travis Barker and the latest from G-Unit as “You So Tough” is the track that 50 Cent disses T.I. on in the 3rd verse.
2 follow up on the Shaq dissing Kobe freestyle, the hilarious news story of the day is that a sheriff wants Shaq 2 return his badges with the reason being Shaq’s foul language in this remarkable huge (and overblown) freestyle, dissing Kobe Bryant, as well as NBA legends Patrick Ewing and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar. A boatload of NEW trax 2day, with the feature track actually being an incomplete one, haha. The latest track (supposedly) from the upcoming album, Year Of The Gentleman - in stores August 5th, has been released in snippet form. It’s produced by StarGate. Some of you may already be familiar with this equation.. Ne-Yo + StarGate = Awesome. And this one sounds like no exception with Ne-Yo dropping some pretty nice lyrics so far on the high quality (not CDQ) snippet. I’ll be excited when that full version leaks and it’ll be up on GWHH when it does! Ne-Yo is also the 79,139,322nd artist 2 jump on “A Milli” so I figure I’d post that… not really feelin’ it honestly, haha. Below is a bunch of R&B and hip hop as I’m mainly liking the R&B, especially the latest trax from Colby O’Donis, Francisco, and Timbaland’s brother Sebastian (NOT the R&B Sebastian, the Sebastian on the extended version of “The Way I Are”). The above video is an interesting one featuring Lupe Fiasco - an interesting, well done piece on black skateboarders in NYC, featuring a lil’ cameo by Lupe Fiasco describing his skateboarding anthem, “Kick, Push”. The skaters discuss its impact and relevance on skateboarding since the release and the video also includes footage of some neat tricks, of course!

I’ve never been thaaat high on Mariah, but I love everything T.I. and this track is definitely a nice one as T.I. (not T.I.P.) rips his verse with his usual lady-friendly swag and fits in over the laid-back DJ Toomp beat nicely. Sry for such a short blurb, but I’ma call it 1 soon. The internet is starting 2 buzz about a potential beef between superstar rappers - T.I. & 50 Cent! The word around is that 50 took some perceived shots at T.I. in a song called “You So Tough”, rumored 2 be on G-Unit’s upcoming album, Terminate On Sight, with the lyrics,
“Nowaways this rap shit ain’t’ adding up. How niggas get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months?”
and
“Oo-weee, don’t talk to me. If you talking to him, you talking to them…

There’s no question with the lyrics above that 50 is commenting on T.I.’s recent legal troubles and pretty much accusing him of snitching for a reduced sentence. Interesting,,, not sure 50 could deal with losing another battle (cuz Kanye destroyed him last fall) and I’m betting that IF T.I. comes back at him with somethin’, it could be damaging 2 50 again since right now, I think 50’s star has plummeted below T.I.’s. We’ll see if there is any response or if it will just blow over (I’m betting on that) and of course, we at GWHH, will keep u updated on the developing beef?!

The feature track for 2day is the RMX 2 Dwele’s first single “I’m Cheatin’” featuring fellow Detroit artist, Slum Village! It’s a unique R&B track with Dwele singin’ about cheatin’ on a girl, not with another girl, but cuz the girl is different, while Slum Village adds a nice flavor 2 the RMX. Not sure if the track will be included on the album, but the original sure will and its due out in stores on June 24th! Down below, a couple trax from some hip hop heavyweights - a short freestyle over “A Millie” (what else is new?) but this time by Jay-Z and a new release from G-Unit produced by Swizz Beatz. Also down below, don’t sleep on a HOT R&B slow jam track by virtual unknown - Nathan. He should be grateful for that ridiculous StarGate beat, which is attractive 2 ur ears on first listen. And finally, the video premiere of Estelle’s latest single - “No Substitute Love”, a nice video with some old school elements telling the story of the song! Enjoy!
Comin’ thru real late 2nite and luckily it wasn’t an urgent day in NEW music but there are still some cuts from some of ur favs. in R&B and hip hop. The 2 trax from the batch I liked is a hot, uptempo track from R&B singer Mario and the “Where The Cash At RMX” by Swizzy & Foxy B. Warrants mentioning tho that the original is better.. not really feelin’ Foxy’s verse but the beat and Swizzy are on point. Check out The Game & Keyshia vid premiere below as well. Enjoy!
It is a rare day where one of my old favorites releases a NEW track as Montell Jordan has come out with a club-banger with the Ying Yang Twins that you might like! “This Is How We Do It” is his biggest hit and one of my all-time favs, so it’s great 2 see he’s still making music. Lupe has been battling some minor sicknesses as I’ve heard from ppl at his shows and Ellen says so herself in the video, but Lupe rose 2 the occasion like MJ with his Flu Game, haha, and delivers another top-notch performance. There is also some NEW audio, including the hot collaboration by Lloyd and Ludacris, another Timba-produced track, and a new track from G-Unit’s Lloyd Banks & Spider Loc that I’m feelin, especially the verses from Banks.
