I’m lovin’ everything I’m hearing from R&B new-comer Karina Pasian, and this track is different than the previous ones we’ve posted off her debut album, First Love, in stores this coming Tuesday! “90s Baby” is sure 2 be a radio hit - it’s got the uptempo beat and the equally catchy hook, but there’s somethin’ about Karina that I can already see separates her. While this song isn’t as lyrically deep as her other songs, it is a nice track that exposes a lil’ bit more about who Karina Pasian is, a good idea for what looks 2 be the first track off her album! Below, there’s some more R&B featuring some big names like Brandy, Trey Songz, & Bobby Valentino, as well as some solid hip hop cuts - namely a CDQ version of an old T.I. mixtape track, a nice Talib Kweli feature, & a solid, passionate banger from Cassidy & Cory Gunz! Large update, starting with another nice track from up and comer R&B singer Karina Pasian! It’s a slow jam that should be on her upcoming album of the same name, in stores August 19th! More trax below feature a pretty sick beat by The Underdogs, a nice Chris Brown feature, & Mikkey Halsted ripping thru one of my all-time favorite beats (Mobb Deep - “Shook Ones Pt. 2″). Finally, a ton of videos for u 2 look at, including behind the scenes looks at music videos from CRS, Lupe Fiasco, & T.I., and a bunch of Rock The Bells interviews with all the various artists on the bill. Here we are again with some more NEW trax for ya ears, with the latest from Chi-Town’s Twista (shouts 2 Andrew) and he is back with the same ridiculously fast, twisted Chicago flow we are all accustomed 2. Idk if it really shouts “1st single” but it’s certainly a solid track with a nice message dealing w/ relationships, basically summarized by the sample in the chorus. Down below, more sickness from Joe Budden thx 2 J.D. and another track that I’m really feelin’ on 1st listen by R&B singer, Mario! It’s got a fast, yet not annoying Jazze Pha beat (sometimes his productions get repetitive) and the lyrics are a good one and Mario’s got one of the more pleasing voices in the game. Finally, a couple video premieres for ya eyes n ears w/ “Don’t Turn Back” by Colby O’Donis, which coincidentally is a track that’s finally growing on me. While the video is nothin special, it is a cool one featuring some dancing and a very sexy brunette that Colby steals from a dude with a rough goatee, haha. The other video premiere - young up and coming R&B singer Karina Pasian w/ “Can’t Find The Words”, more proof that she could be something very special for years 2 come. Enjoy!

Consequence’s “Disperse” f/ GLC & Really Doe should be released next week and will feature cameos from Kanye West & Lupe Fiasco! That was one of my favs of 2007 and I’m really lookin’ forward 2 a fresh video for a fresh song. Also it looks like Common & Pharrell are making a video but for what track, “Universal Mind Control” or “Announcement”? They both have some mainstream appeal but I’d bet on the former. Once the masses hear UMC they’ll eat it up. In some Billboard news, Nas officially dethroned Weezy by coming in at 187K for the 1st week! Congrats 2 Nas. Down below some NEW trax u can peep below and the one I’m especially feelin’ is the young R&B singer Karina Pasian’s “Winner”!
Our man Bullet is blowin’ up! The Chicago rapper is currently featured on Hip Hop DXNext (GemStones w/ a nice shout in the comments as well…) and with all the buzz gained on the internet with his first 2 singles “Earth Girls” & “Take That” (also on iTunes now), Bullet should be making a nice debut when his debut album, Back To The Lyrics, will be released this summer! Bullet’s got that true Chicago flow and matches it with some unique wordplay as evident in the GWHH Exclusive “Quick”, another album cut “Blue Moon” (thanks 2 FSD)! He also gave us the mp3 for “Burning Up”, which hasn’t been downloadable off his MySpace, but now u can get it above! Watch out for another Chicago rapper, Bullet, hittin’ the forefront soon!

I’m also really feelin’ “Crazy” by Trey Songz, as it’s got that unique beat and I’m a sucker for the lyrics in that song.
