Old School Sundays is back after a brief hiatus (still waitin’ on a mixtape idea that is perfect for OSS, hence the delay..), but I was inspired by the recent heat from T.I. 2 find somethin’ old school of his that some of u may have not heard before. The above song is certainly not rare, but it is also a good 6 years since it has been released and I know T.I. has gained a lot of casual fans since then, most of whom might not have ever heard of this track until now! It’s got a nice Jazze beat along w/ 2 of the best 2 ever flow on the mic showin’ why in 2Pac & T.I.! I always was feelin’ Johnta on the hook as well, but the story is T.I.’s breakout verse which certainly propelled his career, still in its early stages at the time of this release, 2 the superstar status he has attained now. So def check this track out if u don’t have it already; it’s a MUST-HAVE for hip hop fans! Enjoy!

Some MORE NEW T.I. - this time a brand NEW track featuring The Dream called “Like I Do”! Jazze comes thru with a real nice, uptempo beat that matches T.I.’s fast flow and The Dream’s high voice on the chorus. This one could easily be another radio hit down the line. I’m enjoyin’ all of T.I.’s verses and the subject matter is similar 2 that of “Whatever You Like”, which could be good or bad, depending on ur view. I like songs about that specific subject matter, but there might be people wanting something a lil’ more fresh. Even so, the 2 songs are still different, but both are pretty sweet. DL the NEW track above and also peep some more updates below, including the much-talked about live performance of a NEW Jay-Z track, produced by Kanye West. I’m not feelin’ it that much, but the masses sure will. Kanye released the official video of the performance and there’s already an audio rip for ur iTunes below along w/ some more hip hop trax-n-vids f/ Kardinal Offishall, Lloyd Banks, & Bun B! Enjoy!

Here we are again with some more NEW trax for ya ears, with the latest from Chi-Town’s Twista (shouts 2 Andrew) and he is back with the same ridiculously fast, twisted Chicago flow we are all accustomed 2. Idk if it really shouts “1st single” but it’s certainly a solid track with a nice message dealing w/ relationships, basically summarized by the sample in the chorus. Down below, more sickness from Joe Budden thx 2 J.D. and another track that I’m really feelin’ on 1st listen by R&B singer, Mario! It’s got a fast, yet not annoying Jazze Pha beat (sometimes his productions get repetitive) and the lyrics are a good one and Mario’s got one of the more pleasing voices in the game. Finally, a couple video premieres for ya eyes n ears w/ “Don’t Turn Back” by Colby O’Donis, which coincidentally is a track that’s finally growing on me. While the video is nothin special, it is a cool one featuring some dancing and a very sexy brunette that Colby steals from a dude with a rough goatee, haha. The other video premiere - young up and coming R&B singer Karina Pasian w/ “Can’t Find The Words”, more proof that she could be something very special for years 2 come. Enjoy!
Check out some fresh tracks that came out Thursday… sry a lil’ late on this but midterms and a presentation all day, and ballin’ of course. Anyway, I’m feelin’ all 3 of these tracks. The first is the “Sweetest Girl RMX” with a nice, new verse by R&B crooner Casely. I just enjoy the vibe to the whole song and Akon is rockin’ the chorus as usual. The 2nd of these tracks actually also features Akon; a hip-hop, pump up type song with Akon on the chorus, and yeah, it’s pretty sick, although admitedly a lil bit lacking on the lyrical side. It’s interesting to see the 2 different sides of Akon on the above 2 tracks actually, haha. Lastly, I got the “Feelin’ It RMX” by relatively unknown R&B singer - Sammie - with more well-known R&B singers Lloyd and T-Pain over a nice Jazze Pha beat. DL them all below and enjoy!
