Whoo, this is a crazy track! Kanye comes thru and raps TWO verses over this unique, electronica beat. His flow and delivery may not be liked by some, but I’m feelin’ his feature here as it actually reminds me of his feature on Pharrell’s “Number One” from a couple years back. While I’m not feelin’ the tacky reference 2 T-Pain & Lil’ Wayne’s “Can’t Believe It”, ‘Ye has some real clever name-drops and references elsewhere, starting with 2 obscure NBA references that NBA junkies like myself would catch and appreciate.
In the first verse, he shouts out his hometown Bulls player, John Paxson, referring to this:
“I want to hit it way way out like John Paxson, but for now I just gotta watch ya practice”
“You know what’s some crazy things? Some girls make ya wait longer than A.C. Green. Passion of the christ, 33 year old virgin. That’s disrespectful. Baby don’t encourage him..”
Those made me smile, haha. It’s a sweet track that I’m really feelin’ and you guys should DL above! Below, check out the requested “Say You Will RMX” f/ Drake and a large batch of videos featuring a touching Sean Taylor tribute, Lupe Fiasco interviewing Common (MUST-WATCH), a funny spoof of autotune that I appreciate from B.o.B., and more featuring artists like Akon, Nelly, Keyshia Cole, & MORE! Enjoy!
OOH, almost forgot.. Grammy nominations were released yesterday! Big ups 2 the usual cast of characters grabbin’ some noms, most notably our main man Lupe Fiasco snatchin’ 4 nominations (I fully expect him to win 1 of those.. at least!) and Trey Songz who registered his first career Grammy nomination for his masterful “Can’t Help But Wait”, which is a song that I would put on a CD of 20 trax or less of my favorite songs ever!
Finally back with some loose ends from some major artists, including The Game up above. It’s a nice track with a mellow beat that takes a backseat to Game’s lyrics. Down below, check out the latest from Jay-Z with a track that is produced by Kanye West. I’m not really feelin’ it but I know a lot of you will so be sure 2 check that one out right under this. There’s also some more trax featuring a couple nice ones from up and comers Jay Electronica and B.o.B. as well as some other names like Jamie Foxx, Baby Bash, & Colin Munroe! And of course there’s a couple videos featuring Common & Immortal Technique to be viewed below as well. Enjoy!
Takin’ a quick stop in Madison 2 catch up with a friend and also come thru w/ a quick update of trax-n-vids featuring Chicago artists, starting off with a nice RMX of Kanye West’s “Say You Will” (off 808s & Heartbreak) with R&B singer and actor, Tyrese! Tyrese adds to it nicely in the beginning and end, but this also seems like an unofficial RMX. The song itself is growing on me anyway throughout the week. Down below, a couple solid trax featuring Chicago stars, Common & Twista, including another Universal Mind Control leak. I think I’m done posting anything else from the album and truthfully, I’m not really feelin’ “What A World”, but at the same time, it could grow on me with more listens. Finally, check out a Lupe Fiasco video interview below and I’ll hopefully be back up 2nite w/ some loose ends. Enjoy!

Comin’ thru once more on Thanksgiving Day with some NEW heat from Common & Cee-Lo! It’s another hot track from Com’s upcoming album, Universal Mind Control, which is droppin’ December 9th, which seems hella soon 2 me for some reason. UMC is shaping up 2 be a solid album by Common where he takes a generally new direction musically. I’m likin’ what I hear so far but I’m not sure how it will compare 2 his previous 2 efforts, Be & Finding Forever. Down below, some more NEW trax including a nice “Arab Money RMX”, a solid track from John Legend, and more hip hop and R&B. Finally, check out the latest video premiere from Jamie Foxx & T.I.! Enjoy!
Here’s another large update, featuring a lot of videos for ya eyes and ears, starting w/ everything Kanye! He was up on Letterman and the AMAs performing his first 2 singles off 808’s & Heartbreak (in stores NOW!), “Love Lockdown” & “Heartless” and you can see the passionate performances above! Down below some NEW trax from Avant, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, & MORE, you can peep some performance and interview videos featuring big names like T.I., Ludacris, & Common and a couple video premieres including a sad, black and white video from Ne-Yo for his next single, “Mad”, and the latest from the talented singer Leona Lewis. Enjoy!
ANOTHER NEW Ne-Yo track; this one is produced by StarGate and stands out above the rest that have been released in the past few days. I loove the StarGate beat that is more electronica that what we’re used 2 compared 2 previous songs of both StarGate and Ne-Yo. Lyrics wise, Ne-Yo tells a story that not many can relate 2, yet it is easy 2 follow and makes for a great R&B track that all R&B fans must DL! Down below, more R&B featuring the likes of Johnta Austin, Bobby Valentino, & The Dream! Peep some random vids as well and enjoy!

Quick weekend update for ya ears w/ a bunch a NEW trax, starting off w/ the sick collaboration between Joe Budden & The Game. In addition to their clear, on point verses, you get a captivating hook and a ridiculous, unique beat. I’ma be bumpin’ this more and at high volume in the very near future. Down below, predominantly R&B altho you got some hip hop featuring Busta Rhymes, Stat Quo, & Young Jeezy. There’s a ton more unreleased Ne-Yo trax that are all solid, but nothin’ special compared to some of his instant classics on his albums. Don’t forget 2 check out the latest episode of ConsTV in light of the release of 808’s & Heartbreak this Monday! Enjoy!
And I apologize for not bein’ up on the updates as fast as usual, but this weekend is a really busy one and it’ll all be made up 2 u with our biggest EXCLUSIVE interview yet, coming sometime on Sunday! Stay tuned.
***No time 2 make a new post… added 2 NEW trax by Chris Brown & Lloyd! Scroll. (4:20PM CT)
I was buys all day Saturday, but back on Sunday with a HUGE, 25 track update, predominantly R&B featuring all the big names like Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Usher, Mario, Jamie Foxx, & MORE! My boy Songz sounds ridiculous over the 2 covers of Slim and Robin Thicke. I’m really feelin’ those couple trax and to a lesser extent, the “Just Like Me RMX” w/ Usher added and the Paula DeAnda / Frankie J duet. Peep all the trax below as well as the latest video premiere from Gym Class Heroes and a video about The Roots’ retirement from touring. Enjoy!

Check out another upcoming G.O.O.D. Music and Chicago artist, Really Doe, with his latest leak called “My City”! As u can assume from the title, Really Doe examines his hometown of Chicago and while some Morgan Freeman snippets are nicely sprinkled in the track, I’m not totally feelin’ the beat. However, it’s still a solid track that all Chicago hip hop fans should enjoy. Down below, a couple solid R&B trax from big names Usher & Jamie Foxx as well as videos featuring Common, Q-Tip, & Plies! Enjoy!
Def feelin’ the Young Ray / Chip Tha Ripper collabo, esp the beat, that I just added a lil bit after the original post went up. Make sure 2 DL that! (Shouts 2 Leak Jones)
