Producer: Dela - FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, Changes Of Atmosphere*Tibs Fav.™
The above track is all Talib spittin’ on a nice, slow, simple beat from Dela, which of course allows Talib to spray some clear wisdom and even attack “lullaby rappers”, a term I would love 2 adopt now, haha. Def a good hip hop track for ya ears. Down below, mainly R&B (or Pop&B), including the next T-Pain single with pop star and frequent collaborator, Chris Brown. I’m not really feelin’ it - autotune 2 the max here, but I’m sure it’s somethin’ that won’t sound bad in a club setting. (Just a thought… “One Nite Girl” by LA & Mr. Music above simply BLOWS “Freeze” away.. prolly a biased thought, but one that I’m sure many of you will agree with…) Anyway, more videos below as well with a Luda feature premiere, ConsTV’s latest installment, and Sarah Silverman hilariously endorsing Barack Obama! (Shouts 2 Urban Music & HHU for a few of the trax & their continued support!) Enjoy!
Above is JUST the trailer for the video “My Life” by The Game & Lil’ Wayne. Supposedly, the full video will be released later 2day and I’ll have that up asap, but bear w/ me cuz I’ll be on the road most of the day. Anyway, I’m predicting the video and the record as a whole will do wonders for The Game’s career and only enhance his rising status as on of the game’s (no pun intended) hottest rappers. Below, enjoy a few trax including the 1st single by R&B singer Monica - a slow jam produced by Bryan-Michael Cox w/ Ludacris hitting the track for a nice verse! There’s also a T.I. listening party video 2 watch, which is a good sign that Paper Trail will actually hit stores on the day it’s supposed 2 (09.30!) Enjoy!
Producer: Polow Da Don - FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, Lessons In Love *Tibs Fav.™
R&B singer Lloyd is prepping for his 3rd album, Lessons In Love, and this is the last batch of trax that we are sharing here at GWHH before the album hits stores on August 5th! And they are 2 of the better ones, especially the J. Lack produced “I’m Wit It”. If you recall, Lloyd and J. Lack first linked up for the huge hit “Get It Shawty” that was a summer anthem last year and this track is sure to be bumpin’ in the stereos well into the twilight of this summer. It’s not quite the banger as “Get It Shawty” but it’s surely a track that I’m feelin’ and the new-age R&B fans will enjoy as well. Down below peep some more hip hop featuring Rhymefest, an old (unreleased) Nas track, a Lil’ Wayne feature, and especially take the time to watch and respect the genius that is R&B singer/songwriter/producer Ryan Leslie as he gives viewers a special behind the scenes look at the making of his single “Addiction”. R. Les is just goin’ crazy on the boards and on the mic and it’s really neat 2 see his passion translating into the music. As a bonus video as well, check out a rare interview from 1994 back when Ryan Leslie was in high school (and bout 2 enter Harvard, where he graduated at age 19!?!) … I think me and him had the same glasses, haha! Anyway, that’s def an interesting view and for more Ryan Leslie on YouTube, subscribe 2 his official channel with many more behind the scenes looks HERE! Enjoy!
Producer: J. Lack - FULL, CDQ, Rumored track off upcoming album, Brass Knuckles*Tibs Fav.™
Comin’ thru w/ a late nite update and HOT Hip Hop and R&B trax for ya ears, with the Nelly & Usher collabo (shouts 2 Urban Music for the exclusive) over another ridiculous beat by J. Lack! I’m likin’ bits and pieces of the lyrics a lot, both the chorus by Usher and some clever lines from Nelly. Def a MUST-DL for the mainstream fans. Below is the full version of a Chris Brown snippet from awhile ago called “Back 2 Back”, produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, and a couple good hip hop trax by Mickey Factz & Q-Tip, as well as the official? video premiere of a bonus track from N*E*R*D’s latest album Seeing Sounds, and one of my favorite trax from the album, “My Drive Thru”! Enjoy!
Producer: J. Lack - FULL, CDQ, Rumored track off upcoming album, Year Of The Gentleman*Tibs Fav.™
Hope everyone’s 4th was a safe and fun 1! Back with another mainstream update for ya ears w/ the feature track being a ridiculous one by one of my favorite R&B singers, Ne-Yo, & one of my favorite up and coming producers, Usher’s younger brother, J. Lack! J. Lack always has this unique sound and it’s never consistent w/ his other trax (which is a good thing) and Ne-Yo shines over this with some cool lyrics. Def a MUST-HAVE for ur R&B collection! Down below, check out the latest from fellow R&B crooners, Lloyd, Colby O’Donis, & One Chance among others as well as some hip hop featuring the Busta Rhymes, Lil’ Wayne, Ludacris collabo (which could grow on me) and a track from Chi-Town’s GLC! Also peep the lil’ Nas flick if ur interested at the bottom! Enjoy!
Producer: Drumma Boy - FULL, CDQ, Rumored track off upcoming album, Paper Trail*Tibs Fav.™
Happy Independence Day with a TON of NEW trax, including the latest from T.I.P. up above.. He goes a lil’ slow flow on the chorus, trying 2 recapture some “What You Know” magic, and I think it is effective on first-listen, but we’ll see how long that lasts. It is a quality track that the T.I. fans should enjoy and it could very well be the first single off Paper Trail. Down below, u gotta DL a couple trax from Chicago artists - Naledge & Malik Yusef. The Malik Yusef is pretty much a spoken word and it’s pretty cool. Both are MUST-DLs. And finally, check out the boatload of NEW R&B trax (in large part, thanks 2 Urban Music) featuring Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Lloyd, Mario, Bobby Valentino, & MORE! I still need more listens, but on first listen.. Mario “Do For Love” & Trey Songz “High Definition” I’m really feelin’. We’ll see how that develops over time, but u should judge for yourself and DL above & below, in addition 2 a couple videos f/ Mariah Carey, T.I., & The Cool Kids at the bottom! Enjoy!
Producer: Cool & Dre & The Game - FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, Untitled, in stores 07.15 *Tibs Fav.™
Aite, so Nas’ upcoming album, Untitled, has been leaked by now and tons of trax have been available everywhere, in addition 2 the ones that have appeared on GWHH. If u want the whole album, I’m sure u can browse our affiliates and find it, but since we don’t post full albums on GWHH and try 2 limit the amount of trax also, I figured I would just post 1 more goodie for ya’ll that wanna sample or wait til 07.15… and it’s Nas’ unique collaboration with The Game & Chris Brown! It may sound surprising, but it’s a very quality track with Nas & The Game ripping over a ridiculous Cool & Dre beat, with CB enhancing the track throughout (listen and you’ll see what I mean..). Def a MUST-DL and I can see the track blowin’ up as a 2nd single with the appealing names and production involved. Below, we’re playing catch-up with 16 trax total from the past few days (since we let the Kidz In The Hall interview and Mr. Music get the well-deserved, extended spotlight) featuring a ton of big names. A few thoughts… Usher track is RIDICULOUS… pretty sure that’s a snippet but it’s a 2:51 long snippet, if that, and it’s HOT! Also, u may notice the same song by Lloyd and Sterling Simms, and well, that’s cuz it is… it’s just a different singer for each version. The early edge goes 2 Sterling IMO, but I’ll need a few more listens. Other than that, u can peep my favs below and I’m sure u’ll find somethin’ u like, in addition 2 the video premiere of Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli”! Enjoy!
And in some bad news, fellow blogger gowhere? cannot access GWHH where he is staying in China because he’s in a restricted area or something like that. So unfortunately, it looks like we won’t be getting the unique posts from gowhere? until mid-August when he’s finally back in the States. But u kno Max G. & myself will be holdin’ it down for ya!
12:10PM - Just upped “Swing Your Rag” by T.I., produced by Swizz Beatz (formerly known as “Louis Rag”). It’s the clean version, but the previous version was littered w/ shout outs. Def update ur iTunes w/ this one below. Shouts 2 Z for sending this thru!
BIG update featuring an unreleased track from the Chicago/Detroit hip hop duo - The Cool Kids! Ya’ll should kno them already anyway and they’re back with another nice track. The lyrics aren’t the deepest but its a cool track for the sneakerheads out there and set 2 another dope, unique beat that defines the sound of The Cool Kids! Also above is a bonus interview with Karmaloop TV! Down below, we got the latest from Bullet himself with the song “Get It” produced by Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids. So if you like the beats of The Cool Kids, you’ll definitely wanna DL Bullet’s track for more of the same!
Further down, check out a nice, uptempo R&B track produced by one of my favorite up and coming producers - J. Lack (Usher’s brother) by Ryon Lovett & Ne-Yo! You can also find the latest from the mainstream with NEW trax from T-Pain, Lloyd, and VIDEO PREMIERES from Nelly & Ray Lavender, AND finally a LIVE performance of The Game’s latest hit, “Pain” f/ Keyshia Cole! Enjoy!
Producer: J. Lack - FULL, CDQ, Here I Stand Bonus Track *Tibs Fav.
A bunch of NEW trax for the middle of the day, including more USHER! Haha, prolly the last we’re posting of his material from the latest album but if this is the quality of the BONUS track on Here I Stand, then we’re shaping up for a great album. I really like the vibe 2 the track above and its just captivating all around - beat, tempo, lyrics… judge for urself above. Below you can find a bunch of NEW trax f/ T.I., Nas, Yung Berg, and many MORE! But ya’ll should scroll a lil farther down and get that Kenna/Lupe Fiasco RMX and the first track leaked off of Common’s upcoming (Kanye-less) album, Invincible Summer. Both those songs are ridiculous and u gotta hear Common spit over a high tempo Neptunes beat. Pretty sweet and could def grow on me even more! Enjoy!
A ton of NEW trax in 2day’s update, but the feature track is a type of track that you are likely familiar with already - a Mash-Up! I personally LOVE Mash-Ups, but most of them are not that good. The one above is an exception as the Casely vocals on his hit single “Emotional” is combined with Ne-Yo’s hook and StarGate’s beat on the soon-2-be hit single “Closer”. It offers listeners a NEW take on both songs and I personally like it a lot. DL above and judge for yourself. Below, you can find the various NEW R&B and hip hop, but the Ghostface Killah “Charlie Brown RMXs” warrant some mentioning. It’s a series of 4 trax that was sent 2 a select few of us 2 share by 4 different DJs remixing the song by the Wu Tang Clan member. I sincerely enjoy all 4 as they all have a completely different sound from one another and you should check those out as well. I also put up the “Flashing Lights RMX” f/ R. Kelly that was requested, but I could not locate one without all the DJ shoutouts. Still a good track tho if u are a fan of either. Enjoy!
