The above track is all Talib spittin’ on a nice, slow, simple beat from Dela, which of course allows Talib to spray some clear wisdom and even attack “lullaby rappers”, a term I would love 2 adopt now, haha. Def a good hip hop track for ya ears. Down below, mainly R&B (or Pop&B), including the next T-Pain single with pop star and frequent collaborator, Chris Brown. I’m not really feelin’ it - autotune 2 the max here, but I’m sure it’s somethin’ that won’t sound bad in a club setting. (Just a thought… “One Nite Girl” by LA & Mr. Music above simply BLOWS “Freeze” away.. prolly a biased thought, but one that I’m sure many of you will agree with…) Anyway, more videos below as well with a Luda feature premiere, ConsTV’s latest installment, and Sarah Silverman hilariously endorsing Barack Obama! So the story goes… Lupe Fiasco performed LIVE for the lucky students attending Indiana University and broke out a couple “works in progress” a.k.a. some never before heard rhymes that our good friends over at lupEND captured on video, and then ripped for the mp3 above as well (thx 2 J.D. for that also). Lupe flows fast and slow and from what I can tell on the low quality versions… it sounds awesome. I can’t wait for a better version, titles, an mp3, but it’s likely a long way 2 come still since L.U.P.End is not supposed 2 drop until Dec, ‘09 and that’s before all the prerequisite push backs. Take it for what it is and enjoy (along w/ a few NEW trax below!)
Producer: Bangladesh - Another “A Milli RMX” (2:31)
A boatload of NEW trax 2day, with the feature track actually being an incomplete one, haha. The latest track (supposedly) from the upcoming album, Year Of The Gentleman - in stores August 5th, has been released in snippet form. It’s produced by StarGate. Some of you may already be familiar with this equation.. Ne-Yo + StarGate = Awesome. And this one sounds like no exception with Ne-Yo dropping some pretty nice lyrics so far on the high quality (not CDQ) snippet. I’ll be excited when that full version leaks and it’ll be up on GWHH when it does! Ne-Yo is also the 79,139,322nd artist 2 jump on “A Milli” so I figure I’d post that… not really feelin’ it honestly, haha. Below is a bunch of R&B and hip hop as I’m mainly liking the R&B, especially the latest trax from Colby O’Donis, Francisco, and Timbaland’s brother Sebastian (NOT the R&B Sebastian, the Sebastian on the extended version of “The Way I Are”). Here’s some mainstream trax for the mainstream fans, leading off with an uptempo R&B banger from Frankie J! I’m likin’ the overall feel 2 the song with a hot beat and solid lyrics, and while it’s not an instant classic by any means, I can see myself flippin’ this on in the coming weeks. Below, is the trifecta collaboration btwn Plies, Keyshia Cole, & J. Holiday… not huge on Plies or J. Holiday, but Keyshia Cole’s part in the song makes it a MUST-DL! And below that, DL trax from rapper Cassidy & R&B/pop star Ciara that u mite like as well! Enjoy!

Haha! That’s Kanye’s title of his most recent post on his blog, promoting the latest track featuring him and Young Jeezy! Kanye goes T-Pain with the Auto-Tune on his verse over a nice dirty south beat. I can see this blowing up so be sure 2 DL it and blast it for your friends. Oh, and while you’re at Ye’s blog - check out his beef with Entertainment Weekly, a wildly passionate and entertaining comeback at the EW review of the Glow In The Dark Tour. Also be sure 2 DL a couple NEW trax below that I really like - Swizz Beatz gettin’ it hyped with a sick, hard beat and a bonus track from R&B crooner Taio Cruz that is a nice 1 2 chill 2. Here’s some NEW Music 2 start of your week! Mainly R&B jams but some quality ones at that! The J. Holiday track above is a sweet cover of the Nas single “Hip Hop Is Dead” and as u can imagine, J. Holiday speaks on the state of R&B. I like the idea, not sure I agree w/ all of it, but its an interesting track that I like and u should DL! The Mario track below is sweet, but it doesn’t really sound like him. I’ve seen it credited 2 Mario, but from what I hear, I’m skeptical. Shout what u think! U can also DL 2 new trax from the boys at MTB4, a Trey Songz feature, and a new one that could grow on me by Ludacris! Enjoy!

HUGE Update for u late nite viewers (Note that Tuesdays and Thursdays are my real busy days and I won’t be able 2 update til late nite…) Anyway, above is a supposed unreleased old school Lupe Fiasco track, with the literal title haha. From what I can tell no one knows where it is from but it is either from before Food & Liquor or just a NEW, recent track… either way, I’ve never heard it and I have all the Lupe songs I see and its a straight up ridiculous beat and track overall! Scroll down below for a bunch of Tibs Favs, including the “Ghetto Rich RMX” and HQ version of Usher’s NEW single “Love In The Club” as well as the video premiere 2 Chingy’s latest single, “Gimme Dat” f/ Bobby Valentino and Ludacris! Sorry I couldn’t get these songs up earlier… I’ve been real busy with going home for the weekend and now back in school and in the studio (arch. - not recording, haha) non-stop. Anyway, here are 3 Trey Songz featured songs that have been released the past week.. maybe few days. I’m really feelin’ the “Bed” Remix as the original version is already no. 5 on the Billboard charts. I’d also like to add that Trey Songz has a SWEET Gilbert Arenas line in the Drake song,
“Let me fill the arena, I’ll be Gilbert Arenas, somethin’ like a Wizard when I give you what I give ya, when I give you what I give ya…”
His rhymes (yes, Trey Songz raps also) are actually all pretty nice on this track with a “Matrix” reference also. But anyway, if you know me, you know I’m a huge fan of Gilbert Arenas, so while I’m here and since we’re all getting hyped for the new NBA season (check out the Celtics video posted below by gowhere?) check out another blog all dedicated to Gilbert Arenas that I check out daily.
