Some quick hit trax before I go 2 bed including the latest from ATCQ frontman Q-Tip! It’s def a chill, catchy track f/ the legendary D’Angelo that will be appearing on the upcoming album, The Renaissance! This one will likely continue 2 grow on me cuz good music always does. Twista comes thru w/ a nice version of “Swagga Like Us” and David Banner comes thru with a lyrical track himself that is a real solid listen. A TON of heat in this update, starting w/ my boy Trey Songz who comes thru w/ a nice song, not unlike previous hits “Wonder Woman” and “Missin’ You”, in that it’s not really an uptempo track and not really a slow jam. It is a quality track, which is the theme of this post. GCH & Estelle hook up for a nice track as well, along with some more great rhymes coming from the Wale track (Michael Phelps and Brett Favre name-drops were real clever), more clever name-drops in the club-banger by Pitbull, & don’t forget Cassidy. I’m also feelin’ the lil’ snippet by Ne-Yo as the StarGate produced beat, along with lyrics that many can relate 2, will likely transition into another big radio hit for Ne-Yo! This is def an update where u don’t wanna skip DLing so judge for urself! Enjoy!
Honestly, I’m feelin’ this NEW track from our boy S-Preme more than anything else below. There’s nothing special below, so if u choose one track 2 DL 2day, make it the one above by the up and coming Chicago workaholic, S-Preme! It’s a fresh, fresh track with a unique beat and S-Preme changing styles and flows throughout. He got me immediately with his lil’ intro transition into the first verse that was just dope. Takes a couple listens 2 fully grasp the lyrics/punchlines (rectum one was great) and finally, he goes ridiculous in the last 30 seconds or so. Another professional track by S-Preme above, who deserves 2 keep blowin’ up! Below, like I said, nothin’ special, but some big names like Young Jeezy, Ice Cube, Ne-Yo, Joe, & MORE as well as some interesting videos 2 peep! Enjoy!

Thx 2 our aff. 2dopeboyz (ironic, huh?) for the above track and pic as Lupe, Wale, & Kardinal Offishall rhyme over the classic Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth “T.R.O.Y. (They Reminisce Over You)”! Lupe’s verse has been out for over a year already - it was featured on the 2007 mixtape, Sneakerboxx/The Laces Below, but it is mashed into a full song w/ Wale’s and Offishall’s verses (not sure if they are recycled also..)! Some MORE NEW T.I. - this time a brand NEW track featuring The Dream called “Like I Do”! Jazze comes thru with a real nice, uptempo beat that matches T.I.’s fast flow and The Dream’s high voice on the chorus. This one could easily be another radio hit down the line. I’m enjoyin’ all of T.I.’s verses and the subject matter is similar 2 that of “Whatever You Like”, which could be good or bad, depending on ur view. I like songs about that specific subject matter, but there might be people wanting something a lil’ more fresh. Even so, the 2 songs are still different, but both are pretty sweet. DL the NEW track above and also peep some more updates below, including the much-talked about live performance of a NEW Jay-Z track, produced by Kanye West. I’m not feelin’ it that much, but the masses sure will. Kanye released the official video of the performance and there’s already an audio rip for ur iTunes below along w/ some more hip hop trax-n-vids f/ Kardinal Offishall, Lloyd Banks, & Bun B! Enjoy!
BEFORE u get excited, it’s JUST the cover art of the “Paris, Tokyo RMX” which for the first time shows who will be featured on the track - as u can see, Pharrell, Q-Tip, & Sarah Green! I’m excited about Q-Tip jumping on the RMX, clearly disregarding the Fiascogate incident where Lupe messed up the lyrics of A Tribe Called Quest song in a live performance, and I’m excited for Sarah Green 2 display her vocals on the track, like she has been alongside Lupe for his more recent live performances! The track will likely be leaked sometime in the near future and the next time u see that image, u will be able 2 DL it! A boatload of NEW trax 2day, with the feature track actually being an incomplete one, haha. The latest track (supposedly) from the upcoming album, Year Of The Gentleman - in stores August 5th, has been released in snippet form. It’s produced by StarGate. Some of you may already be familiar with this equation.. Ne-Yo + StarGate = Awesome. And this one sounds like no exception with Ne-Yo dropping some pretty nice lyrics so far on the high quality (not CDQ) snippet. I’ll be excited when that full version leaks and it’ll be up on GWHH when it does! Ne-Yo is also the 79,139,322nd artist 2 jump on “A Milli” so I figure I’d post that… not really feelin’ it honestly, haha. Below is a bunch of R&B and hip hop as I’m mainly liking the R&B, especially the latest trax from Colby O’Donis, Francisco, and Timbaland’s brother Sebastian (NOT the R&B Sebastian, the Sebastian on the extended version of “The Way I Are”). LARGE update here so here’s some thoughts… first and foremost, Bullet.. straight up stepping his game up. DL his ridiculous freestyle of Common’s latest single “Universal Mind Control”. Perfect beat for Bullet 2 shine on with his fast, twisted Chicago flow and they got creative with chopping up his voice in a couple instances. (Not 2 mention Common killed this as well…) He’s on the verge of being the next big thing out of the Chi so don’t sleep. The internet is starting 2 buzz about a potential beef between superstar rappers - T.I. & 50 Cent! The word around is that 50 took some perceived shots at T.I. in a song called “You So Tough”, rumored 2 be on G-Unit’s upcoming album, Terminate On Sight, with the lyrics,
“Nowaways this rap shit ain’t’ adding up. How niggas get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months?”
and
“Oo-weee, don’t talk to me. If you talking to him, you talking to them…

There’s no question with the lyrics above that 50 is commenting on T.I.’s recent legal troubles and pretty much accusing him of snitching for a reduced sentence. Interesting,,, not sure 50 could deal with losing another battle (cuz Kanye destroyed him last fall) and I’m betting that IF T.I. comes back at him with somethin’, it could be damaging 2 50 again since right now, I think 50’s star has plummeted below T.I.’s. We’ll see if there is any response or if it will just blow over (I’m betting on that) and of course, we at GWHH, will keep u updated on the developing beef?!

The top one, “You Ain’t Ready” is another classic, foul-mouth pump up banger from T.I.P. and “Life Of The Party”, as u might be able 2 tell, is a more laid-back T.I. flowin’ as usual with R.
