Quick update for ur lazy Saturday w/ a hot R&B track from Casely, who is prolly tied w/ One Chance w/ the most amt of songs w/o an album even close 2 being completed, haha. The work ethic is there and this is a track that stands out amongst his best - hot, uptempo beat, nice lyrics; can’t ask for much more. Below is a request 2 one of my favorite trax right now, “Miss Independent”, which, as predicted, is startin’ 2 blow up the radio as it is climbing toward the top of the Billboard Hot 100! Quick morning update for ya w/ Trey Songz comin’ thru w/ yet another solid track, that would especially hit the right chord if I can relate 2 the lyrics, haha. Just cuz I can’t, doesn’t mean they aren’t good ones and I’m sure there are fellas out there who can relate. Either way, it’s a nice track 2 just vibe 2. Below, there’s nothin’ I’m really feelin’, but the masses will be sure 2 eat up Bow Wow on the “Can’t Believe It RMX” and the Kardinal Offishall / Rihanna collabo. Back from work and here w/ a large update featuring a boatload of trax-n-vids! The feature track coming from the Mountain Dew-led campaign via Green Label Sound, who will be releasing trax from up and comers like The Cool Kids exclusively on their website for free. More artists will soon be announced and there will also be a coinciding promotional tour featuring the artists. The project sounds very interesting w/ The Cool Kids comin’ thru w/ another solid banger, featuring some clever wordplay! A few notes on the updates below… Naledge & Lupe each had their own version of “Mean & Vicious” and I think the rare mixtape trax have been molded 2gether into 1 track, which u can DL below! Lupe’s 2nd verse remains one of my all-time favorites, so if u don’t yet have “Mean & Vicious”, u GOT 2 DL the version below! A few more thoughts, not 100 pct. positive that’s indeed Bobby V and/or Timbaland on the snippet at the bottom of the update, but its credited 2 them, so we’ll go w/ it, and finally check out the funny video trailer from our man Chip Tha Ripper, promoting his NEW mixtape coming soon and I get ya caught up on The Game Vs. Finally the VIDEO PREMIERE for “Disperse” by Consequence f/ GLC & Really Doe has arrived! As said earlier, this was one of my favorite trax of ‘07 and the video really does the song justice. They illustrate the story that all 3 rappers touch on in their verses and are just havin’ fun, especially Lu and Cons throughout the vid, haha. All the while, everyone’s lookin’ pretty fly. Definitely a MUST-SEE video above so don’t sleep. The track is off of Don’t Quit Your Day Job, which is in stores now!

Above are the 30 second snippets of all the tracks off N.E.R.D.’s upcoming album, Seeing Sounds! A lot of the beats are captivating on first listen and they are all included on an mp3 that is about 5+ minutes long! Below u can find some NEW music from Chris Brown (2 tracks that will be on the re-release of Exclusive), T-Pain, & a dope Lupe Fiasco Interview with NBC Chicago! Couple quick CB notes… never was really high on “Picture Perfect” and the RMX doesn’t really add much IMO, but I do love CB’s new 3rd verse. And 2, I believe “Heart Ain’t A Brain” was included in the rush of trax that followed Exclusive after its original release in November… from the DJ Babey Drew leaks. This version is supposedly the full version that will be appearing on the re-release - Exclusive: The Forever Edition in stores next Tuesday, June 3rd! Oh also, if u’ve noticed, we haven’t been posting any of those fan-made videos on the Glow In The Dark Tour… well, we will post official videos, including the first one below as Kanye West addresses the Chicago crowd on 05.23.08, courtesy of MTV News. Above is the latest from Go Getters, exclusively dropped from FSD. Go Getters, if u recall from last week, is the group consisting of Kanye West, GLC, Really Doe, & Arrowstar - a Chi-Town clique when they were all fresh in the game around 1999 and 2000. It is interesting 2 hear these trax, especially Kanye pre-accident, who sounds noticeably different. It’s some raw Chicago Hip Hop above so be sure to DL it!
The third (and final?) version of the “Flashing Lights” video has also hit the web and u can view it below! Admittedly, it goes over my head a lil’ bit on first viewing, but Kanye brings it with a deep and artistic perspective that his fans should respect. It is important to note that this “Version 3″ is the last 2 leak and hit the web, but it was in fact the first video Kanye & Co. shot for the song. They scrapped it and filmed the 2nd version that leaked last week, scrapped that, and released the one with Rita G. back awhile ago.
Scroll a lil’ more for a large batch of NEW trax featuring some big names like Usher, Lil’ Wayne, & Mario, but the one below that I’m feelin’ above the rest is the song by Danny Fernandes - an uptempo new-age R&B track with a sick beat, similar 2 Fernandes’ earlier hit “Curious”. Enjoy!
