I was searching for inspiration for this installment of Old School Sundays and simply thought of one thing I’m looking forward 2 - the first video from CRS for the “Everyone Nose RMX” and it’s directed by none other then the subject of 2day’s Old School Sundays - famed music video director Hype Williams. I did a little digging at his official website - hypewilliams.com - 2 look at his long list of music videos he has directed since the early 90s. Hype’s videos are always so artistic and unique that many hip hop and R&B artists pay big money 2 get him 2 direct the video for their latest single. So below, I found just a few of the many examples, including a couple old videos for classics by Nas and Puff Daddy (at the time) and one of Hype’s more recent videos for Lupe Fiasco’s “Superstar” (also lost in our archives). So take some time out and get hyped for what Hype has in store for CRS’ “Everyone Nose RMX!” Hah, I know.. hilarious. Enjoy!

I’ma bump this a lot for sure and get my ears familiar with some of these virtual unknown R&B singers, and u should 2 cuz maybe you’ll find someone new that u like! The “Flashing Lights” video FINALLY hit the web 2day (I was expecting yesterday, sry) but it is here! It was not at all what I was expecting, but Kanye has a way of doing the unexpected, haha. Definitely an interesting take at the song with the video that u kinda have 2 sit back 2 understand. Above is another interesting video, but this time an interview with Lupe Fiasco focusing on the always controversal topic of racism. Below is the NEW audio for 2day, including a HUGE *Tibs Fav., especially considering the “holiday” that is 2morrow, “Valentine” by Ryan Leslie! Definitely feelin’ that track as well as the slow jam by Akon below! The NEW Ying Yang Twins song below is I think a mash-up, featuring old vocals from the 112/T.I. collaboration “If I Hit” - an old *Tibs Fav. of mine, so I figure I’d share it as well. I especially love the creativity of “MyBoyBlu” featuring snippets relating 2 the character Blue from the movie Old School (The last snippet 2 close the song is well-placed and hilarious!) “CityOfLos(t)Angel(e)s” is another sweet track that is lyrically awesome.
