Stream: Freeway 'Diamond In The Ruff'

The Philly Freezer, Freeway, is dropping his new album, Diamond In The Ruff, tomorrow on November 27th and today, DJ Booth gets the exclusive to stream the album in its entirety. Longtime fans will no doubt appreciate the pleasant surprise of hearing the whole album a day early. From the album's previews, Freeway is already bringing it with his usual intense delivery and thought-provoking lyrics.

I admit, I skipped right ahead to the Nikki Jean collab "Sweet Temptation" because I've been curious to hear some new music from the soulstress as well. Talk about an automatic *Tibs Fav. - love the sound, the eerie chorus from Nikki, and Freeway's bars. The following track, "All The Hoods", also features a female hook (Miss Daja Thomas), reenforcing a trend of rap verses plus female hooks equalling pleasant sounds. It works with the Freezer as well, making him 2 for 2. Now to run it back from the top. I'll be having this in my playlist today along with a couple more blog and mixtape features comin' up throughout the day (so stay tuned for those as well).
