'The Office' Season 9 will be its last season

The end of an era is upon us, as for nearly a decade, a Thursday night comedy staple in The Office will be closing its doors after the end of Season 9 that will be starting September 20th. This is the right time (well, many Office fans may argue that two seasons ago was the right time), but it's great that the show will know this is the last season and can wrap up the series on its own terms. For me personally, I haven't missed an episode. In fact, I still remember the day three of my high school buddies watched the premiere episode when it originally aired and laughed hysterically at Jim putting Dwight's stapler in Jello. We've been hooked since then so it'll at the very least be a bittersweet ending come next spring. I predict a Michael Scott comeback at some point this season. Kind of has to happen, right?
