A Meme Tribute to Brian Scalabrine

Today, Brian "The White Mamba" Scalabrine has retired from the NBA after 11 seasons and has unfortunately, for the Chicago Bulls' sake, turned down their assistant coaching job offer for a TV offer with the Boston Celtics. Scal's loveable wit will definitely be on display in the broadcasts so I expect more YouTube videos like that below to pop up throughout this upcoming season.

Meanwhile, you can't knock an 11-year career as Scalabrine won an NBA title with the Boston Celtics and proved to be a valuable role player throughout his time in the NBA. His last two years came with our hometown Bulls where he quickly became a fan favorite. Scal provided us some veteran leadership, knowledge, and it's well-documented how great of a teammate and locker room guy he was throughout his career.

Now, the legend of the White Mamba is perhaps a hard one to explain, but if you know, you just know. He was about as fun a player to root for, and his legend lives on in part because of awesome MEMES like the ones I've had saved above. Enjoy!
