Lupe Fiasco removed from stage for anti-Obama comments

It should shock no one to see some politcal controversy surrounding Lupe Fiasco, and tonight, it comes in the form of Lu's removal from stage at Hamilton Live in Washington D.C.

Lupe was booked to perform at a celebratory concert for President Obama's inauguration and at the performance tonight, he apparently performed an anti-war song ("Words I Never Said" footage above), said that he didn't vote for Obama in the last election (nothing typed so far should be new to anyone who follows Lupe's political views), but it looks like it was his refusal to move on from that song for 30 minutes that led to security coming on stage to end his set.

There's some front-row footage of "Words I Never Said" above and a few tweets from Foreign Policy political writer Josh Rogin describing the situation as he saw it happen (shouts to NTN & Complex).

What do you think of Lupe's latest controversy?
