So yeah about this new Vic Spencer. It's cold. When you bump Vic Greenthumbs on your iPod the genre reads 'rap movies'. But guess what? It really is. Vic Greenthumbs plays to VI's elaborate theatrical personality like a reel. I'd say groove! Vic would say groovy! After this tape you'll say Vic can rap. A smart person knows that. The Brainiac emcee wants everyone to know, however. He wants people to see he is willing to work hard to prove his craft to the city and to the masses.
The proof is in the pudding or just with Vic Greenthumbs. 30 tracks that symbolize VI's 30th born day and what he is on. VI receives a lot of love on this project also with guest features from Sulaiman, Gemstones, Chris Mathien, Chance, Alex P. Keaton and D. Brash (of Co-Pilots), Brian Fresco, D2G, JDP, Silken, Henny B, Griffen, Simeon (of Primeridian), FYI, and a slew of other dope Chicago artists. I particularly was feeling the joint with Vic and Gemstones. I was waiting for somebody to re-loop that creepy Watch The Throne beat and spit on it. "Jail Bars Galore", "Rainlife II", "Green Middle Finger", and "National Geographical" also had me raising the decibel levels. Stellar, heart-felt bars. A dope medley of original production and timely verses over already classic beats. I think Vic Greenthumbs gives you a little bit of everything like those free Sam's Club taste displays. Hear him out!
