Rose Island Vol. 1 is the long-awaited new project from Theophilus London as it boasts 18 tracks, a couple big name rapping features in Big Boi & ASAP Rocky and other names like Marvin Gaye & Sade. Plus, there's that overall edgy and futuristic sound to both the vocals and production that Theophilus fans are probably already accustomed to. The tape starts out with a couple of gems in "Mothertree" and "Lisa" and I look forward to really diving into the project as a whole to grasp the differences in this compared to Theophilus' past projects. It already sounds poppin' though so best believe I'm going to have this in rotation today. You should give it a shot too; download above!
