One thing you can always count on at Summer Camp is being able to see three days packed full of Moe. As a matter of fact there wouldn't even be a Summer Camp if it wasn't for these guys. Some new age fans may not be going there to catch Moe as their main attraction but they're legends and they still throw it down harder than most. With three days to see them a lot of people go there not knowing their music and leave loving them. This year they brought the party as always. Most of the old school jam bands stay away from laser light shows but Moe brings the lasers out hard. With the forest behind the crowd and lasers hitting the trees there are few sights more amazing than Moe's lasers at the main stage at Summer Camp.
The setlists included several favorites including "Meat", "The Pit", "Downward Face Dog", and "Happy Hour Hero" with special guest Warren Haynes on the guitar. Many fans don't get too excited for Saturday night at Summer Camp because it's a night filled completely with Umphrey's McGee and Moe shows, but as far as I'm concerned the running back and forth from Umphrey's to Moe back to Umphrey's and then back to Moe is always a night to remember. Check out these guys out at one of their other festivals coming up, Moedown. We're glad Vinny is healthy and the shows are back on! Peep this video of "Happy Hour Hero" with Warren Haynes, enjoy!
