Above we got some better footage of a Lupe Fiasco a capella preview of a new verse that was said at Drexel University (where this took place) to be off a new single. After one viewing, it is pretty clear Lupe is NOT selling out, which I have sensed some people have been jumping to conclusion to when they hear Lupe say Lasers will be more 'popular'. I think Lupe means the sound primarily and verses like the one above definitely prove he is keepin' it real for the forthcoming album. I love the strong and direct words he has for the war on terror, Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and even Obama. It is quite a perspective and I would love to hear the context around this verse. I guess what I mean is I can't wait to hear the full song, ha! For more footage of Lupe speaking at Drexel, check out LupEND's spot.
Down below first lies a handful of tracks featuring some Redman, Outlawz, and even an unreleased Dr. Dre feature. Ne-Yo & Jagged Edge round out the R&B before a trio of videos wraps up the whole post. Definitely check out the documentary on something many of us can relate to - Thanksgiving football - by Chicago artist Kidd Russell, who previews the new song "Backyard Heroes". Also peep what went down on Black Friday in Chicago and a preview of a mega-collab helmed by Consequence. Enjoy!
