The Gorillaz' fresh first single gets some artistic visual treatment, as you should expect with the group as the "Stylo" music video leads a new music post. The mix of the animation and real life is simply magnificent. The story follows the Gorillaz driving from a series of cops, with even Bruce Willis chasing them for the majority of the video. Overall, the video is just a trip - an interesting story mixed with abstract imagery that may take a few times to fully understand. Without giving anything away, that culminating scene wrapped things up quite nicely, haha. The Mos Def-assisted tune also features Bobby Womack but none were in the video. Easily a fresh video to start off your day.
Down below, the rest of this mainstream new music update continues with a street single from Young Jeezy & Plies that almost made my ears bleed (shouts 2 NMC) and an additional trio of tracks featuring Fabolous, Mario, and Christina Milian & The-Dream (congrats on the new baby!). And finally, a trio of video premieres takes us home featuring B.o.B. (nope, not for "Nothin' On You"), Young Money, and DJ Khaled and friends. Enjoy!
