We are proud to premiere the NEW, comeback project from Gemstones: On The Road To Glory My Story! It's 21 tracks of raw hip hop and soulful R&B that illustrates the ups and downs of the journey from Gemini to Gemstones, the artist and the person. The emotion that Gemstones conveys throughout the project is intense and automatically engaging. Gem first talks about the ups of his times with FNF before transitioning into some of the trials and tribulations he experienced on the way to finding peace with God and within himself. The balance between hip hop and R&B reaches a perfect equilibrium as Gemstones often kicks tight, fast-paced flows and rhymes, and then sings his own hooks that certainly channel more of a gospel influence than ever in his career. The result is simply beautiful.

There are countless amounts of resonating records across On The Road... A couple of examples: Gem talks about his personal struggles with weight loss on "XL (Excell)" and, in stark contrast, Gem transports himself into the mind of various, insecure 17-year old girls dealing with common harsh realities on "17". Or how about discussing the conscience eating at him to do right with the Lord while he did wrong on "Chances Of Heaven"? Simply put, On The Road To Glory My Story has it all! The common denominator and greater theme is that these personal experiences and analytical views on the harsh realities of the world are both inspiring and relatable. We also attended Gemstones' On The Road To Glory My Story release party last night and were simply floored at the concert experience that Gem left the audience with. He brought his journey to life, performing tracks from Untamed Beast (as Gemini), to Testimony of Gemstones, to of course On The Road... depicting a powerful visual transformation of Demarco Castle! You will be able to actually witness this metamorphosis of Gemini to Gemstones as the man becomes reborn by shedding all fear and doubt to bring the people his True Self. This newly reborn entity speaks only the truth refusing to sell his soul he chooses to lead away from destruction, as he continues to walk on his journey on the way to glory!

Fun facts: In speaking with Gemstones last night, he told us he drew the project's cover and in talking with Dante D'Vino (of Miller St. Studios), who mixed the project, we found out the entire project was recorded and mixed in the last two weeks to meet the deadline!
