The Cool Kids take to the Chicago winter for their new video for "Free Throws" as the duo bundles up and walks through the city, spotlighting some of the city's dope architecture and showcasing their humorous personalities at the same time. The Dichfurd Ahlers-directed flick is also shot in with a seemingly throwback lens that reminds me of watching a grainy TV from back in the day. That adds an interesting effect for the visual to a song, might I add, that's hard to stop. The verses are slick and the whole vibe is really catchy. So, peep the video above and prepare for the continued wave of Cool Kids related material coming soon, starting... below?! Oh, and for all the artists out there, more Mike Breen samples please... "puts it in!".
As alluded to above, Sir Michael Rocks is coming out with a solo project called Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe and releases the remix to "BatPhone" featuring Smoke DZA. I liked the original as this is another record to sit back and vibe with over some non-Chuck Inglish production. Smoke DZA is also featured on the new Brain Candy release (along with CurT@!n$) from Kidz In The Hall, rounding out just a pair of mp3s. The batch of videos concludes another new music update highlighted by Common spitting another fresh, college freestyle. Browse 'em all below and enjoy!
