Features production from Tony Baines, Logic, Jay-El, NEPHEW, and more!
Chris Shields was featured the other day with his remix of Drake's "Fear" and now comes the complete project, Everybody Hates Chris: Reloaded. Definitely eager to jump into this one as Shields kept it Chicago with original production from Tony Baines, Logic, Jay-El, NEPHEW, Mark Byrd, Penn, P Citi, and Chileak. So if you want your new dose of hip hop for this Sunday evening, treat yourself to the new mixtape above!
Down below, a litter of R&B graces the update as R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, and Chris Brown make their appearances. R. Kelly delivers a solid slow jam, Ne-Yo the same over a Polow production, and my favorite of the batch happens to be the Ester Dean/Chris Brown/StarGate collab "Love Suicide". A couple videos can be seen below, including most interestingly, a definite old, unreleased video apparently edited by Benzino himself featuring a young Jay Electronica saying some bad things about how Eminem and Jimmy Iovine are treating hip hop like a game. Not sure what to make of this so far removed from the date of the recording but take a look and see for yourself. Finally, peep a small gallery of photos including the album art for The Roots' new album, How I Got Over, currently slated for June 22nd and Pharrell mingling with mega movie star directors Martin Scorsese and Oliver Stone. Enjoy!
