The Trill O.G, Bun B, has been raking in the features for his upcoming solo album as the industry gladly reciprocated to the years of assistance Bun B has provided the fellow artist by blessing Bun's solo album with seemingly whatever he requested. The first track above embodies the request as he gets verses from the late Pimp C and 2Pac, gets a killer hook by Trey Songz, and of course fills in the rest with his own stellar verse. To see all the names together is both crazy and curious. Bun explains the origins of Pac and Pimp's contributions in this video, which basically explains how the track came together. There are fun moments in all of their verses and Trey killin' the hook (and the sign-off) is icing on the cake. Definitely a must-download with the names involved along with Bun B's second collabo with Drake for the album, "It's Been A Pleasure". This one could grow on me as I like the mesh of styles a little better than the previous "Put It Down". Download the couple tracks above as well as some more must-haves below.
T.I. & Lil' Wayne will jump out at ya, but "Yeah" is a previously released track that is now liberated without the DJ tags. We premiere a new, solid joint from Chicago's Dane One and up and coming artists JayLee, propaYne, & J. Ellis all say "Goodbye" on their new soulful collab. Don't sleep on this new Mr. Hudson track (shouts 2 perajok), elZHi's new freestyle, and new mixtape joints from Diggy Simmons and Outasight. Sidebar: in some bonus elZHi/Slum V. news, Kevin Nottingham caught up with the homie T3 to explain his side of the story in a must-read here. Finally, the update wouldn't be complete without a batch of videos, which include Trey Songz' homecoming on the latest episode of BET's 'My Moment', behind the scenes on the cover of Eminem's Recovery, B.o.B linking up with my favorite shoe company, Adidas (yup, sorry Nike), and some insight into the creative process via Ne-Yo and Ryan Leslie. Enjoy!
