alpha.live 'Soul CineMa' [EP]

Indiana emcee alpha.live has earned the spotlight here at Gowhere before, so perhaps his name's already familiar. If not, here's your chance to get familiar with this strong (Fre)EP from beginning to end entitled, Soul CineMa. Fans of thought-provoking lyrics will gravitate to alpha.live throughout this project, as a strong intro was followed by my early favorite: "Panic" - a personal, storytelling record that was an infectious one to care about. Other favorites include the relationship-centric "SkyTrak" (featuring a dope female chorus from Kenye Fudiyah), "Blind", and "Say Love". On top of the mic skills he displays, the production both varies and comes correct nearly everywhere, specifically on the beats that provided a dark mood and whenever strings were involved. As a result, I can envision some of my aforementioned favorites translating into some artistic and cinematic music videos. Hope to see the visuals come to fruition, but in the meantime, I'm perfectly content with rocking with the audio only - once again, a really strong effort from an up and comer you should get to know: alpha.live!
