2010 NBA All-Star Game Video Recap

The All-Star Game was also host to a trio of performances from big names Usher, Alicia Keys, and Shakira. You can hit the videos below for Usher's and Alicia Keys' performances and after the jump you can watch Shakira's (shouts 2 yardie). I've seen some criticisms of the performances just surfing the web, Twitter, and Facebook which I thought were interesting. Usher's may have dragged on too long and I felt just the opening song for "More" was appropriate. And yes, he was likely lip-synching parts of his performance but to do those dance moves at the same time is quite difficult. The performance itself I thought was pretty cool and would have been 10x better to experience live with all those lights. Alicia performed a medley of "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart", a modified version of "Empire State Of Mind" for the All-Star Game, and "No One". She could have been better herself as her voice didn't sound as great as we all have seen in the past. Nevertheless, she was still entertaining. Finally, Shakira's music never really hit me but she is a talented performer, no doubt about that ;). Last but not least, I threw in a BONUS video after the jump of the REAL Dunk Contest.
