Eminem recalls near-death experience in Adrian Grenier's 'How To Make Money Selling Drugs' Documentary
You may know him best as Vinny Chase in Entourage, but what has Adrian Grenier been up to since the trendy HBO series ended a couple of years ago? While his former manager may be busy changing career paths altogether, Grenier stays involved with film with his own documentary called How To Make Money Selling Drugs. The doc spotlights many big celebrities and musicians like 50 Cent, Rick Ross, and Freeway to discuss their dealings with drugs... whether they dealt or used. (And I feel like these people all made cameos in Entourage at one point or another, haha.)
As it's been much publicized, Eminem went to rehab for drug abuse and there were even stories that broke out pre-Relapse that he almost died. I was reminded of these stories as Eminem recalled his near-death experience. Wow, chilling. What could have have happened.
"Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died. My organs were shutting down, my livers, my kidney, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis, they didn’t think I was gonna make it. My bottom was gonna be death."
From what I've seen, I love how the documentary is spotlighting first-hand experiences from people we all know and even adore. I think this will be effective in spreading awareness of how lethal drugs can be if that tender line is crossed. Check out Em's story above.
