First: Jay Z... then The Weeknd... now the Stanley Cup (via Drake's Instagram)
What better way to put the finishing touches on Nothing Was The Same with a collaborative effort that may just (probably not) provide more intrigue than Jay Z and The Weeknd. That's right, the Stanley Cup.
Drake spit some raps with hockey's highest trophy alongside him for championship aspiration purposes that he hopes to attain in the musical world with the upcoming album. You may be wondering how he was even with the Stanley Cup, so here's how we can connect the dots. It's rather simple in fact. In the caption, Drake added "#Bolland63" referring to Chicago Blackhawk and Game 6 hero Dave Bolland, who has since been traded this summer to Drake's hometown of Toronto to play for the Maple Leafs next season. Whew! Drake & Bolland hanging out, huh? Nice.
In other fun Drake news, he thoroughly enjoyed Action Bronson performing at an old folks home.
And oh, he kinda sorta dropped a new single with 2 Chainz and Big Sean that is still trending on Twitter more than 24 hours after its release. If you have not yet heard (AND NOT YET KNOW THE WORDS TO THE HOOK!), then do yourself a favor and click below.
