D Webb and C.H.I. Interview with Gowhere Hip Hop @ GWHQ

I LOVE having visitors in Chicago.  When my visitors come, we find ourselves getting work done. D WEBB and CHI came in from Peoria, Illinois to perform for my birthday.  To kill 2 birds with one stone, I invited them to GWHQ to give the Chicago hip hop scene an insight on NO CHASERS and D&V Entertainment.  D WEBB reps the trailer parks of Peoria, but the love for his lyrics, stage presence, and drive to go along with his baby face is undeniable in the Central Illinois music scene.  The NO CHASERS movement has undoubtedly made a remarkable impact on Peoria, Illinois. C.H.I., of D&V Entertainment, moved to Peoria from Chi-town and has made a mark in the Peoria hip hop scene. The two have one common mission: To have his music heard. Networking is the way to do it.  D WEBB and C.H.I. have been doing collabos with anyone with skills and passion.  They actually shout out EJAY, SHESMACKSHARD, and TYLER ON THE BEAT.  Here's a look at networking at it's finest.

I won't hold my breath for the meietngs at the museum ..unfortunately, I don't see it happening within a realistic timeframe! I actually think that the EXPO gardens site would make a great new urbanist subdivision along the lines of the New Town in St. Charles, MO. It would be even better in that it wouldn't be located in the outskirts of civilization but right in the middle of the City next to a major high school.I hope they have a GREAT facilitator for these meietngs that keep people focused and asks the tough question: What are you willing to forgo (or is it forego) in order to fund the services you want? or alternatively; What revenue source do you suggest using to pay for these services? It's clearly going to be a situation where everyone wants more services but no one wants to pay more money. It might create a level of expectation from the public that their input really matters that the Council will be criticized down the road when they can't comply with all the requests. Nevertheless, at least they are asking for the public input.
