Alicia Keys "New Day" (prod. Swizz Beatz)

It's been a long time since we've heard a new single from Alicia Keys, and well, for good reason. She did sort of start a family. Now she's back on the music tip with "New Day", produced by her hubby Swizz Beatz. It's more of an upbeat (don't worry, not 2012 pop upbeat) single for Alicia and an overall uplifting one that carries out the "New Day" theme. I'm not crazy about the tune overall, but I do like it. I guess that means I wouldn't put it on the top tier of Alicia Keys tracks. Swizzy provides a solid, drum-heavy production and his signature sound is really on display in the outro - which also happens to be the best part of the song, production-wise.
