Add-2 'Save.Our.Souls. Unplugged' LIVE @ The Shrine [Video]

A couple weeks back, we ventured our way to The Shrine for Add-2's 'Save.Our.Souls. Unplugged' show that we were also proud to be a part of as a sponsor. I was personally eager to see how one of my favorite lyricists in the Chi was going to deliver those words with a live band accompanying him. And he not only didn't disappoint, but majorly impressed as well. It's hard not to feel the energy and impactful message of the music when watching the performance live. Add himself was entertaining with the rhymes and even comical in between songs, while his backup singer was amazing and likewise with the live instros. You can get a taste of all of this with a couple of his closing tracks - the spiritual "Losing Me" and the controversial "Modern Day Coons". In fact, he prefaces the former with some feel-good beliefs in God that I was affected by. So be sure to check out our own exclusive footage above, download the two songs spotlighted individually below, and the tape as a whole - Save.Our.Souls. - below that. Dude's already rockin' co-signs from Common & Nas (who were impressed by "Modern Day Coons" as well as "Cotton Fields", Add said), so make sure you don't sleep on Add-2.
