It's 80 degrees plus today in Chicago and Summer Camp starts three weeks from tomorrow. That means its time to preview the festival once again. Joining annual headliners Umphrey's McGee and Moe this year is the current king of live DJ shows as far as I'm concerned, Pretty Lights. Two years ago this guy tore up one of the smaller stages at the festival, and after a year away he's back this time as a headliner on the main stage. The man behind the music, Derek Vincent Smith, has blown up unlike anything we have seen in the industry. A few years ago he was opening for bands that would be happy to open for him today. The main stage at Summer Camp will be the perfect venue for his crowd stunning lasers to hit the trees along with his epic variety of uptempo bangers and downtempo melodies. If there's one reason to be at the festival this year, it's to see this show that Pretty Lights will be putting on Sunday night on the main stage. We are lucky enough to also have him in the patented Summer Camp late night barn for a set to close out the festival late Sunday, it's going to be epic. Check out the video above of a track you'll be sure to see him play at the festival, "Hot Like Sauce." Enjoy the weather and see ya'll at Summer Camp.
