Alas, we have the new collaborative EP from Naledge & Tony Baines after a series of intriguing previews. Night At The Elysian earns its name from the time that Naledge spent... well... a night at the Elysian Hotel (now Waldorf Hotel) here in Chicago. He wrote the entire project then, and then recruited producer Tony Baines to craft the sounds and fellow Chicago emcees and Vic Spencer, Highlife, Mic Terror, and Gutta Boy for featured appearances. This 7-track EP is also the prelude to another mixtape - the sequel to Chicago Picasso - and his debut solo album, Naledge Is Power. More from Naledge to come, and for now, we have a dope project to hold us over for awhile above.
