Here we are with Scene 5 from the continuous short film series from Mickey Factz for the Mickey MauSe project as this installment is a music video for "Crowded". The summary from MauSe below couldn't describe the premise better:
Edited and Shot by members of The Observers Bureau (Erikson Corniel, Michael Mejia, & Slick Jackson), MauSe returns from overseas to pay his last respects to his dear friend John Lennon. While enjoying the pleasures of Central Park, he is followed & photographed unknowingly. Produced by Mickey Factz and The Observers Bureau, this scene is only a preview to the rest of the short film. Presented by GFCnewyork, The Black Apple, Ronin/SS, Magnum Opus and Right Angle Mgmt.
Love that concept and it's carried out very well in the video. I really vibe with the presentation and overall aesthetics and subtleties of the video. The scratchy, throwback film most noticeably creates that authenticity for the concept. After a viewing of this video, I appreciate the audio even more as "Crowded" was a track off Mickey MauSe that I liked but was lukewarm about. Now I have a renewed interest to bump this one individually, in addition to of course, the tape as a whole, which is still in steady rotation. Give this a look-see above and catch up on the previous scenes below.
