We're always welcoming of new Cocaine 80s - the No I.D.-led collective featuring Common & Fauntleroy. No Common on the vocals here, but Fauntleroy does the heavy lifting by both singing and rapping. In fact, he flat out kills it. His "queeeeeen to be" chorus is an instant attention-grabber and delivered infectiously. Plus, his fast rap flow is both easy to follow and one to ride with. Especially since he's not known for that, I was impressed. The entire sound and mood of the production and vocals together are simply on point and up above lies an easy *Tibs Fav.™ with all-caps potential as I bump this one even more. Download above!

"Initiation is the process by which we turn from our natural inclination to remain unconscious and decide that whatever it takes — suffering, striving, enduring — we will pursue conscious union with the deeper mind, the wild self." ~Clarissa Pinkola Estés
